So I'm selling something and this guy sends me quick and short emails saying he is interested.

It looks good until I recieve this email.

Thanks for the address given by you,so you give me the name that will be putting on the payment,so you can be expecting the cheque payment for the items------,so due to some reasons for the payment to be issue for the items----- and to be ship,have contact my shippingcompany for informing them that they are picking-up one of my items in your place and they have agree with me and they send they are to collect amount worth of $ 1,800USD for the items,so i will need your help for the payment to be accept by you,have contact my bank about the payment to be issue they said the payment will be issue but it will issue in the same cheque for both my seller and my shipping company,they can not seperate the
cheque payment for one items so you are to help me out for it now the payment will be issue for you worth of $2,000 USD for the item and my shipping company and you are to cash the money and deduct your own from the money and send the excess funds on it to my shipper for them to come for the picking up theitems in your place so your assistance is needed now because i need the items for my junior brother is very urgent he is asking since all this days that how far about it and i dont want to dissappoint him at all so your attention is needed thanks.

Update: So this guy is still sending a check for $2000, I think I will verify if it is real with my local bank when it arrives.

UPDATE 2: So the $1000 check came from Qchex.com, the name on the check is from here: A1 Watches

The bank that is backing the check is this: Broadway national bank

can't wait to cash it :roll:

these folks have a thing about signing their name with a period at the end. just watch for that and you have a scammer!
 
You'd think that if some poor suckers were falling for this that at least one of them could learn to speak english.
