COMPUSA is the worst store with the worst customer service with the worst return policy. If they buy out Circuit City then CC is dead forever. We have CompUSA here and nobody even bothers to go there. The little tech bastages working there seem to think they know it all yet can't seem to help anybody. Their lousy return policy sucks some major balls.

Circuity City has by far the best customer service of all(BB, CUSA, staples). Their pricematch and return policies are unmatched. The sales people suck but who cares stuff is reasonably priced and can be easily returned.

Funny, around here the Circuit City stores suck even more than CompUSA. The return and price match policies *should* be pretty good, but you can't get anyone to honor them without wasting more time than the money saved is worth. If they wind up being owned by CompUSA it would be pretty hard to tell the difference, dealing with one or the other would be like either getting your spleen ripped out by a salad fork or getting your spleen ripped out by a cocktail fork. It doesn't make much difference, you're getting forked no matter what you do.

I believe I remember hearing an inside source tell me that the merger is practically done and they are just now leaking info....

I always think I'm signing a car title or the deed to a home, CC's receipts are super friggin' long.

CC around here is pretty horrible at customer service, anyway. I just go right next door to BB, and get great service. Of course they do know me now at BB. Last time I was in there, one of the computer sales guys came over and asked me a question about one of their computer, then went and told the customer what I said.
