ya, it's been fun so far. got it for a decent price but the front fairing is missing (seller said he took it off and then can't find it). Anyhow, anyone know where can I find a upper front fairing? I tried ebay, but most used ones are pretty damaged. The OEM one is like 400 bucks, and I only manage to find one seller on Ebay that sell an aftermarket, primer-ed one for 150 bucks. Anywhere else I can source one?

Can't find it? That sounds stupid. More like the bike was in an accident, fairing went, and now it's a street fighter.

But yea welcome 🙂 We have a few who ride here. We talk about sport bikes vs cruisers, oils, beginner bikes/what bike should I get, and youtube videos, all usually on rotation, you will see the same threads posted here over and over again, it's mad fun!

yes yes, I know it's sounds suspicious, but the price was right and my friends checked out the mechnical parts and said everything looks alright. I know I will drop it anyways so I will go street fighter style for now anyhow.

Do you have your motorcycle endorsement yet?

i actually bought my safety gear before the bike 😉

and I did and passed the written test, is that considered an endorsement?

No, the written test just gets you a permit. You need to pass the DMV riding test or take and pass the MSF course to get your motorcycle endorsement.

I would highly recommend the MSF course to any new rider or anyone who hasn't ridden in years and has let his/her motorcycle endorsement expire.

THIS x 10000000!!!

The MSF course was the best thing I ever chose to do wrt biking. In my state it's free and I had a BLAST! I walked in with no motorcycling experience ever, and walked out with a motorcycle driver's license and a 100% passed test. It was taught in such a way as to make me feel very comfortable, while still even teaching a thing or two to the 20-year motorcycle veteran taking the course for the insurance discount.

I highly recommend it.
