Oh dear....... not again

It is still at least a week or a week out of FL. Don't get too worried yet. It could turn, or die. Ride this one out first.

That one doesn't look as bad. Generally the storms that start that far south and turn up through Jamaica continue the northward movement and head out to sea without hitting the US.

Are people surprised? This happens like every year...

I've lived here for over 14 years now.... We havent had this many in close succession since i moved here.

19 years for me, and haven't had this many even be considered as possibly hitting fl in 3 seasons, let alone 1!!

I still think hurricanes should be named with women's names 😉

You mean like Bonnie? Frances?

Bonnie, Frances are unisex names. And to clear it up, I think all of them should be after women!

Mother Nature: Hey! Thor! Line me up some hurricanes! Let's really FVCK Florida up!
Thor: <sound of hammer hitting metal 40 times>
Mother Nature: Woah! Do we want 40 hurricanes?
Thor: Well, we can always stall a few a day shy of landfal so they spin themselves out.
Mother Nature: Sounds good to me! Hey, Florida, say my name! SAY MY NAME!!!

I've never known a man named Bonnie... maybe Francis, but not Frances. They alternate male/female names. I think they used to be all female names, but women got offended.

One of my distant uncles is called Bonnie. I've seen Frances used for boys names, albeit very rarely.
