Shit. What to do now? I had asked at the start about the different criteria as to how to actually do the work correctly up front. Somehow the trainer and I got on different pages, because what I thought was correct I just now found out (by comparing some she did yesterday in some free time she had to mine) I did it incorrectly. This is a project that needed to be done ASAP for an external source, and it took 2 weeks to complete.

So, what do I do now? I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks in a few hours and there is no way to be able to fix the issue prior to me leaving.

Either cancel or extend (indefinitely) your vacation. Sucks for you.

Only two people know the truth. You just have to be very convincing that this is exactly what the trainer said to do. Then also hint that the trainer was lazy and discriminatory.

Or your could tell the truth and cancel your vacation, fix your shit, and keep your job.
