Oh crap! Lemmys dead!

Lemmy is God.
Maybe he'll come back in a few days?

Met him at a Rock Fabrik when I was stationed in Germany in the 80's. Hell of a nice guy to us soldiers he bought us all a round of beers and shot the shit with us for awhile. R.I.P. Lemmy!

One of his best quotes.....

"A kid once said to me “Do you get hangovers?” I said, “To get hangovers you have to stop drinking.”

Here's the official announcement.

There is no easy way to say this…our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer. He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made it’s way down the street, with his family.
We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words.
We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please…play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD.
Have a drink or few.
Share stories.
Celebrate the LIFE this lovely, wonderful man celebrated so vibrantly himself.
HE WOULD WANT EXACTLY THAT.

Saw him at Ozzfest back in 98 at the Alpine Valley.
Motorhead owned that fvcking show. Don't get me wrong, Tool, Megadeth, and Ozzy are all great to watch, but Motorhead is legendary.

Born to lose, Live to Win!

Haha thanks

"its Lemmy he can walk into any damn video he wants"

"its Lemmy he can walk into any damn video he wants"
The thing that blows my mind to this day is how down to earth he was... I mean that night he talked with us and bought us a beer he really wanted to get to know us and where we were from and what we were about. I still think of it to this day almost 30 yrs later!
