Oh crap, crisis here at work.

For some reason, printing has stopped for the whole computing site. 233 PCs, 138 Macs, all filled to capacity, and none of the 11 printers here are printing. The queue (before we cleared all the jobs) was up to 85 jobs at one point. Our Black Ops (that's the awesome name given to the printing support guys here) team is working on it. I hate when people complain about something that I can't do anything about.

Probably not. One of the printers was repeatedly jamming, and when the Black Ops team went to take it out of the queue, for some reason the entire site queue got fvcked. Now, they're working to fix it, but no one really knows what caused the queue to go ballistic. It's a very secure system though, so I'm pretty sure hacking wasn't the cause.

You know what it could have been? Someone could have possibly been confused why it isn't printing so they kept printing out multiple copies and checking and going back and forth wondering why it isn't printing.

Compare the file sizes on those jobs.

Also, one person may not have tried it 80 times, but with that many computers, if you even have 10 idiots who try 5 times each, it can get to 50 ontop of whatever other stuff needed to be printed.

jumpr , yeah , about those tps reports , I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday to fix this printer snafu . All rite .
