rofl. I love this place.

At what point do you start to be concerned about body flex/use issues? Unibodies are durable no doubt, but at 170k that body/frame has seen a lot of use. Still, at that price...
jlee you're about due for a new project man, do you still have 4 cars in the driveway? You know you want a project..............![]()
(cts-v + hitch/trailer) - tacoma = room for project car
I base my unibody concerns primarily around my extended experience with 914s. After 100-150k, imo, the chassis is 'used up' and flexes wayy too much. Granted that's generally with hard use, and a removable roof, but I wonder how much other more modern cars are affected by general wear/tear and flexing on a unibody frame.
So you're trying to make a Fiero?
Joking aside it seems like a 3800 S/C Fiero swap would be a lot easier for roughly the same result, no?

I sit fairly upright - I don't fit very well with a helmet. Without a helmet, it's close but I fit just fine.skyking said:how is the headroom in those things? I sit really tall, and most things with sunroofs are a bad fit for me.
