the kid should have spoken out and said something, however he is 14 he might have been intimidated by all the extra security and could have not been thinking straight. that drinking rule needs to go, why dont they just perform simple ph test on liquids?

I'm sure the first thing through the head of all of us was what if you're carrying a urine sample?

First of all, I would like to say, oh well. Second of all, if your stool is totally luiqified, you need to go see a doctor.

<< You guys are gross. IT says BEVERAGES, not all liquids... hehe. >>

Maybe he shouldn't have had it in a BEVERAGE container... ? (Thinking that a BEVERAGE container is probably not the best method for transporting liquefied stool across state lines..)

<< He said he didn't question the airport screener's instructions because "I was just following orders >>

<< They didn't ask him what it was or why he was carrying it," he told the News >>

Why the hell did the kid knowingly drink contaminated water? Rather dumb not to tell them what it was and even dumber because he knew it was tainted since he was taking it to biology class for testing. I would have just said "screw biology" and left it there.

On a more serious note, isn't this just the kind of danger of nannyism that AmusedOne always warns us about.
