Driving from there to here is a two day journey. So when I got the Canada Post tracking link to check my shipment, I got:

2008/06/10 14:21 Item processed at postal facility - ST JOHN'S, NL
2008/06/11 03:50 International item has left Canada
2008/06/11 16:52 International shipment has arrived in the destination country

It's no biggie; nothing like having something come from China in just one day but held up for two weeks in customs.

I think it is funny that it took 13 hours between Canada and the US. That's one fat border!

Anyone else order from Canada to the US?

I'm surprised you found something in Canada that didn't exist in the US. It's usually (always) the other way around...

Wow, you are lucky it was that fast. Generally ordering anything from the US takes at least 5-10 business days, no matter how close it is.

I ordered a laptop a few years ago that took 4 weeks to arrive with Fedex.

Thats why I stopped selling to Canada. Who would believe that their mail service is worse than ours? It took 6 weeks for a package from IN to BC, and they buyer wasnt happy at all. Who could blame him?

It's customs holding it up, not the post service. That is true of all international sale.

Go to Vancouver. Find a strip club (it won't be a difficult search). All will be revealed.

Titles wrong, it would be US Customs holding the package for 13 hours. That actually doesn't seem so bad.

So you bought something from Newfoundland. Cod Cheeks?

Gotta ship with someone else. Best one I've found is USPS to Canada Post... and even then it still takes a bit.

Yes, the OP was waiting on his bulk beaver order.
Bulk beaver causes me to break out in hives.
