OGR25 - Gloating. :)

I just couldn't help but post since I've been lurking for ages. I had my best day ever in D.net OGR25 today, and didn't even had to save any WU up. I just forgot to shut off my work PC (Athlon 3200+) when I came in for some OT on Saturday and it looks to have dumped a whole load of work. Heck, I even came in first place for the TeAm today! Woo Hoo! 😀

Thanks for all the nice comments! It's nice to be #1 in something for once. 🙂

I currently have a total of 7 machines in my herd chomping away at OGR. 3 at home, 1 at work, 1 at my parents, 1 at my in-laws and 1 at my sister's place. Unfortunately, the fastest machine by far (the 3200+) is only on M-F 8-5 while I'm at work. The rest of the herd generally runs 24/7 but only a couple of them are faster than 1ghz and nearly all of the machines get a fair to heavy amount of use each day which also hurts production.

I'm still doing OGR mainly because the D.net client is small and stable and I'm addicted to my stats. 🙂 OGR does have it's merits, although it's not as exciting as finding a cure for cancer or searching for aliens. However, once it's finished I'll be looking for something else as I too am not really interested in RC5-72.

Let's hope the TeAm can stay in the top 5 before the project is finished! We're still 3rd place overall in OGR-25, but loosing ground each day...
