OGR- Why I haven't been posting stats and Milestone Makers

Hi guys, I am still out here. It's been one hell of a last 2 days tho...

I took off Thursday to go up and see my Grandfather who is terminally ill with cancer. I was really taking my mother up there to see him. We were going to spent the night up there and come back on Friday. Well, after I had gone to bed at about 11pm, my sister-in-law calls me on my cell phone and tells me that my 2 year old son has had a siezure while out shopping with my wife, mother and sister-in-law. Apparently, he also stopped breathing and was in the Emergency room. So out of the bed I jump, clothes back on, check-out and haul a$$ on the 4 hour drive back home. Well, not home but to the hospital.

He is doing ok, he was running a high fever so, that is why he had the siezure. They admitted him to the hospital and we were able to bring him home yesterday evening. So I did about 36 hours on 4 hours of sleep that I had gotten before this whole adventure started. At least he is OK and back to the happy little boy that we know.

I will get back to doing the stats and Milestone Makers for OGR tonight. I have the data for the past 2 days to fill in the tracking charts, I just have not had the time or energy. In fact, I am heading back to bed now.

Take care,

-Mike

That's scary stuff Mike, and what's really strange is that we have friends who had to take their 2 year old son to the hospital with high fever and seizures on Thursday evening. 🙁

Glad to hear he's doing ok now, and my friend's kid is ok too and back home. I have a hard time seeing my kids go through stuff, I'd rather it be me than for them to suffer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Take care,
Ray

My daughter had a seizure when she was 2 1/2 years old, rushed to the hospital by Life Flight, the doctors had me scared to death, I didn't sleep for days with worry. She is now a high school senior and has been admitted to Baylor ($$-🙁). Something bad happening to your kids tends to put everything else in perspective, glad to hear your boy is doing well.

Mike,

Please don't feel you have to produce this info. After all, it's just a hobby, especially when life throws a curve ball at you.

Glad to hear your child is okay. I hope that I never have to go through this with Connor....uh, I mean Bator.

Same thing happened with my oldest at about that age, caused by the fever. He was fine a day later, but scared the heck out of Mom and I.

Glad all is well now.

Been all good news on the OGR front while you were away.
