OGR: What happened to OGR-25

I'm doing some but on machines I don't have access anymore... 😉
So I'm not paying much attention.

OGR has moved on to what's being called "OGR phase 2", which is the re-tooling of things to support additional chunks of OGR24/25 that couldn't be easily distributed under the old system(really wierd 70+ stub tickets). A new client has been released to support P2, along with a new Pproxy(I'm waiting to hear back from Brad on getting this installed), both of which are nessisary to support P2. The first OGR rounds(so-called phase 1) are over with, and no results are being accepted. All clients trying to participate in OGR, but not P2 compatible, are being told OGR is closed, and switched back(if possible) to RC5-72. You can find the full details here and here.

I too have been trying to get ahold of Brad. Ever since he updated his proxy
] I haven't been able to connect.
I am running version 333 of the proxy.
I have turned mine back to dnet for now until I talk with him.
Later

CLL, old proxies can't talk to new ones, so you need to update yours too.

CLL, if you haven't yet, try upgrading to the new v341a pproxy. Hopefully that solves the problem. I noticed the exact same problem where clients couldn't connect, after I had upgraded to v335.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm so glad to hear from the old geezers again. Except for ViRGE of course: Have you graduated from college yet? I don't feel so lonely anymore. Can't believe we've been doing this for 5+ years now.

Well, back to lurking mode for another year...

Graduate from college yet? Heck, I've barely graduated from high school(that was last year).😛 I still have another 3 years to go on college. As for 5 years, yes, it has been a long time, but you and I both know that 5 years from now, we'll still be here; I'm too damned stubborn to leave.😉

Oh hey there, mechBgon! How's the IT world treating you? I just checked out your PC building guide and all I can say is WOW, very nicely done:thumbsup:

Speaking of old habbits, how's Jessie's first year of college going?😛

While we haven't seen her grades yet, they appear adequate to avoid a beating 🙂 no
She is already gone to her summer counseling job at a Church Camp in Louisiana. This week - training. Next week - bring on the children.
