OGR stats for 03-12-2000

Another great day for TA, with some seriuos butt kicking, but we can see the OGR shortage
to drop the cracking rate a little bit on all teams...

For yesterday we did 152T, and \. did 101T, reducing the diff to a measly 783.5T...

DPC are starting to show a little bit...

Let's see for tomorrow dump war 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

A warm TA welcome to our OGR counter of the day and new TeAm OGR member Viking65001
with a big 14,718 Gnodes on the day!

Step forward and be recognized Viking!

We still need another two weeks with this kind of performance over Slash to take 1st place in OGR-25, so let's keep the heat on. If you're short on in buffers, let me know as I'll probably have some to spare.

Milestone Makers:

We had 4 crackers pass the 25 tnode mark 🙂

Håvard Høyaas (Ducky) passed the 2.2 pnode mark!
giantnt4vizmechthunderstorm passed the 1.375 pnode mark!
Buzzman Waltz passed the 900 tnode mark!
psgsr44 passed the 75 tnode mark!
Choralone passed the 50 tnode mark!
The Naked Crackers passed the 25 tnode mark!
Seti Cavalry passed the 25 tnode mark!
dunnry passed the 25 tnode mark!
TA Cube passed the 25 tnode mark!

Great job everyone 🙂 There are a lot of mini-teams on that list 😀 lets keep it that way!

let me know if I missed anyone.

So let me get this right. Basically if TA can get enough OGR stubs buffered and the other teams can't and run out then TA would be able to win for certain right?

If this is so then if it's a close race down the stretch in RC5 then it may come down to who has the most keys buffered. Am I understanding this right? Or would Dnet reissue some of the last few keys or stubs to everyone so no one would run out before the contest is over?

Hmm, i was wondering too. Does this mean that all the stubs for OGR have already been issued? Will they br reissued?

If they've all been issued, is the OGR project drawing to an end?

Yes Ogr 25 is drawing to an end. once it is finished, OGR 26 will start up and take at least a year by my calculations.

It isn't to the point yet where the team with the most buffered blocks wins (at least I don't think so). Even if it is, we are better off than most teams with all the pproxys and team organization. AFAIK, the only team as well organized as us are the DPC, and they aren't a real threat in OGR25.

Actually, ScienceWhiz, we aren't even close to the end of OGR25.

We're close to the end of PASS 1 on OGR25. The OGR contests run through twice, to make sure each stub matches exactly with it's match in Pass 2. Basically, DNet is trying to get as many stubs turned in on Pass 1 as possibly before reissuing for Pass 2.

For an example of two pass, look at the OGR24 plots on DNet. They show that pass 1 is at 100% complete, while pass 2 is slowly creeping toward completion...

Probably after a little while, DNet will reissue all the uncompleted stubs from pass 1 (as well as pass 2 OGR24) to finish up the two. I think OGR26 will wait until OGR24 is officially completed.
