As strange as it may sound, cheaters like the one in your post Daz are more akin to responsible hacking of the old days. :Q
Indeed, it used to be that in the "old days", hacking to expose vulernabilities was both to learn and educate those whose systems you infiltrated - at least that's the way I was instructed back in my high school and college days. If you managed to hack into a system by exploiting existing security holes, then the responsible thing to do was to leave a message in their email or an appropriately named file or document on their system for the owner(s) to easily find, explaining how you were able to access the system, and how best for the user to prevent further intrusions. This was "responsible hacking" - as to whether it was really ethical to do in the first place.. well, that was a great discussion piece. 😉
Unfortunately, it seems that the idea of "responsible hacking" wasn't passed on to the younger generation, or perhaps people just stopped caring about their fellow human beings - either way it's a sad state of affairs for the hacking community. 🙁
Now whether someone has actually left a message for the D.net folks informing them of what script was used or how to prevent this from happening again, I don't know, but I'd like to believe that there was a good intention behind creating that particular account - if so, kudos to that individual, if not, well.. one can hope someone else will be so kind.
