how do i find the codecs?
and what to use?

i installed that vorbis thing
but how do i open the actaul video file

If you use Windows, give Windows Media Player a try. If you don't like WMP, try BSPlayer.

If you want to associate .ogm files with your media player, right click on the file and open with your media player. Remember to select "Always open with this application."

The video portion of OGM files is generally divx or xvid. Chances are, you already have those codecs. If not, get FFDShow. The audio portion is ogg, as far as I understand.

The package that I had you download lets you switch between audio streams. A lot of anime video's come in ogm file so you can switch between Japanese and English audio tracks.
