So managed to get with a friend's friend who knows somebody who's cousin's sister's nephew's mother's brother's step-father's wife's uncle's son is in Congress who is trying to approve more offshore drilling. Went 50mi from somewhere. Took about 2 hours but I spent most of it on a hemorrhoid cushion facing slightly sideways.
Got to the spot which was an oil rig. Weather was perfectly clear and the water was a murky brown with all sorts of pretty rainbow colors in it and I could see about 0' down clear as mud. Managed to pump a few barrels with the first run with a single barrel weighting in at just over 306#. Pumped out limit of a lot really quick.
Headed back home and got in about 5. Refined the crude Sat night and put it in the gas tank. 5 306# barrels gave me probably a metric shitton of gasoline. Gave 2 shittons to coworkers and use one tonight.
All in all was a great first trip offshore and can't wait to do it again. Until then I'll just have to deal with Sunoco in the city.
