Official Zunetag thread

In the same spirit as the Xbox Gamertag, Wii # and PS Name threads in the console forum, I thought people might like to put up their Zunetags for some musical social networking.

*Note1, if you like, you can certainly install the Zune software without needing a Zune. With the most recent update it's now a nice and properly functional piece of software, and the "social" aspect finally has some relevance.

*Note2, if you have an Xbox Live account, this should be the same nickname...unless you setup a separate account specifically.

I probably shouldn't post that, though, because my wife has been known to play some songs on my account, and I actually have a Zune coming in the mail for her this week, so if you see some stupid shit in there, it wasn't me.

Ever since the last update my Zune stopped keeping track of the what songs I've played. I dunno what's up with it. Judging by all of your profiles none of you are having that issue.

I would say double check your privacy settings on the zune website. Also, IIRC, the software requires Media Info to be automatically updated (just select "only add missing information")

Haven't listened to much on my Zune lately other than podcasts and have been using my Ipod touch for music but the new Zune software is finally getting better so here's mine.

I just got my Zune (loving it by the way). I picked up the 80GB red one and have zero complaints so far. I even like the headphones that came with it.

i gotta say, im diggin my zune 80 as well.

very nice sound quality, clear and crisp yet warm and smooth

the screen is great, the touch pad/click squircle thing is pretty smooth.

it isnt perfect but its a damn fine mp3 player.

the podcasts on the zune network for free are great - lots of great NPR shows and a lot more.

I don't know what happened but my Zunetag suddenly updated after syncing yesterday for the first time since the update came out.

That's strange. I'm not really sure I agree with my "most played songs" list, I don't remember listening to those songs that much.

I think the software now updates your played songs based on how you play them in the zune, similar to how itunes does it. I have a bunch of most played stuff just based on listening to them in the zune and not in the software.
