No poll here. Just a posting and discussion format. You can post multiple pet peeves. State your reasoning why this issue pi$$es you off.

Off the toppa my head:

One of my biggest pet peeves are BLATANTLY ridiculous speedtraps designed solely to generate ticket fine revenue for the local jurisdiction. Like in the Washington, D.C. area they have the Balt-Wash parkway which has spots with absolutely LAUGHABLE 45MPH speed limits near Washington. This road is good for SAFE travel at a minimum of 65MPH. Almost no one that I noticed driving on that road pays attention to the posted limit except when "five-o" is seen. I've seen some unfortunate motorists pulled over there.

Good grief, I hope you are not serious. I'm sure you can't be all that bad! I know you are better than a dumb speedtrap since you most likely don't write unreasonable tickets for reasonable people.

People that judge based on first impressions. Hey, it took me 22 years to get to be the way I am, you gonna figure me out in an hour? Go ahead and try, just don't expect me to come back for round two!
Stupid people. And no, I don't mean stupid in the actual sense of the word. I mean people with no common sense. How does anyone get by in life without it?

Vaccuuming - when someone is vaccuuming in the room next to you, in the hall, whatever. I find the back and forth vrroooom, vrrrooom very annoying.

People who wait for a light to turn green before turning right at an intersection w/little or no traffic. :|

People who drive while talking on cell phones.

People who drive SUVs to "commute".

People who smoke in outdoor, yet largely populated groups. People who smoke :p

People who won't get out of the fast lane (to the point where you have to pass on the right).

Stupidity of any sort.

The "I'm so hard, you wanna fight?" attitude that 1st year college students have.

Mothers in SUVs (apologies to those mothers out there who are good drivers and have a SUV). Where I live they stray onto the other side or the road to avoid parked cars on a 4 lane wide road.

Exhaling cigarette smoke (I don't really care if you inhale, it's just when you exhale, and at me, when I get pissed off).

Cops with WRXs (VERY SCARY!!).

People who smoke and people who won't admit they have a problem. I also hate people who try to force their opinions onto you. Also on girls, 'cheapy' clothing is a real pet-peeve. It irritates the hell out of me.

A couple that make me crazy are:

*** People who - when you are out in public with them - don't introduce you to someone that they run into a have a lengthy conversation with. Or, people that, when talking to you, refer to someone using their first name when YOU don't even know who the hell they are talking about.

*** When people chew their food with their mouths open OR smack their mouths when they eat or chew gum. A person chewing gum can be irritating by itself.

My pet peeve is people who, in public places, correct grammer, prounciation, etc of other people they don't even know or care to know. What is with that?

Another pet peeve of mine are people who are rude (butt in line in front of you) and then pretend just to be stupid ("I didn't know that there was a line") then you have to talk to them like they are stupid which is annoying.

HID or PIAA Headlights! It kills me that luxury cars come stock with these things. Sure it makes it easier for them to see (which my halogen headlights seem to do fine) but it annoys the living $hit out of me when they're facing me in oncoming traffic! The only thing worse than this is the people who swap out their halogen lamps for superwhites or something like that! They're (mostly) pointless and annoying IMO :disgust:

People who camp out right by every entrance to a building while smoking. I don't like that I have to walk through a cloud just to get inside. :(

Outspoken stupid people who don't realize how stupid they are being.

Getting cut off in traffic.

1.People who point at their wrist while asking for the time. I know where my watch is pal, where the fsck is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?
2. People who are willing to get off their arse to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.
3. When people say Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too?. fscking right!. What good is a cake if you can?t eat it?
4. When people say It?s always in the last place you look?. Of course it is. Why the fsck would you keep looking after you?ve found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?
5. When people say while watching a film Did you see that?? No> tosser, I paid ?5 to come to the cinema and stare at the fscking floor.
6. People who ask Can I ask you a question?? Didn?t really give me a choice there, did you sunshine?
7. When something is new and improved?! Which is it? If it?s new, then there has never been anything before it. If it?s an improvement, then there must have been something before it.
8. When people say Life is short.? What the fsck?? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever fscking does!! What can you do that?s longer?
9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks Has the bus come yet?? If the bus came would I be standing here, tosser?

Some of my pet peeves:

-Freezing cold weather
-Socks with holes
-people that don't pick up after themselves
-inertness
-People who are manipulative, bossy and controlling
-people who are intrusive, nosy and interfering
-people who think they're the last coca-cola of the dessert(i.e. better than everyone else)


....and basically any person who treats people like crap. Drives me up the friggin' wall.
