I noticed recently that they have a deal on if you subscribe, I was just wondering is the subscription worth it? Im particularly interested in the demo cd....how much do you generally get on one cd? thx for any help

Well, the last issue had playable demos of Splinter Cell, Chase, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Bloodrayne, House of the Dead III, Toejam & Earl III...eh, I think that's it. It also had a bunch of videos and junk I didn't look at. I'm not sure if that's typical, because my roomate bought the magazine and it was the first time I'd ever seen a demo disc from it.

my brother has been getting the magazine ever since xbox came out and I'd say its worth it.


You get a decent magazine and the demo disc is almost always great. You get plenty of exlusive stuff like the Splinter Cell demo and from a while ago you got the DOA Bonus Disc...

The magazine is good plus you get a demo disc each month, so i would say its worth it.

They do sell subscriptions that don't include the disc.

If you want the disc...make sure you get a subscription that includes the disc.
Most "deals" for OXM that I have seen DON'T include the demo disc.

The best price I have found is $24.95/year including discs straight from the OXM website.
