QUESTION: I created my gamertag/profile but I misspelled it (SAD) with a single letter. Apparently to change it, xbox live wants about 800 points from me--$10 to change my tag. Is it possible to simply start a new one? I'm not entirely clear on how it would work with my existing saves. I guess when a person starts the xbox they pick a profile, in case you've multiple people in a family, and that profile is associated with all saves, so I would have to use my misspelled ones to keep the saves I'm already using, unless I pay the $10, right?

Yes, I just found this out the hard way. I had to create another profile because I couldn't make my old account gold, because I hadn't logged into live for 90 days. Such bs!:disgust:

Muadib279 is my Xbox Live Gamertag now.

Sadly, I have no games on it, but I'll send out some friend request to see what everyone is playing these days. I never got around to playing Halo 3, so I guess it's time.😛

I'm thinking about going through and deleting most everyone from my friends list, because it's become cluttered with a bunch of people that I don't even know, nor do I ever play games with. However, if you still want me on your list and I delete you, if you think we have the possibility of playing games sometime, send me another friend invite.

I'm just not finding the point in having 12-20 friends online at peak hours when I don't know who they are, nor have I ever played any online games with them or converse with them in any manner.

gamertag: blurredvision06

I just wanted to inform you all that after a 1 year Hiatus fro xbox it is finally fixed and i'm back in action.

I have COD: WAW and HALO 3 in the regular rotation. hit me up.

I finally got around to trimming down my friends list, so no offense to all the people here if you're no longer on it (which would be pretty everyone). I was tired of logging on and having 20 people online, and me not knowing who hardly any of them were. Nor did I see any point in having all those people and never playing any online game with any of them. I also hated it when someone would log in and my wife would ask me who it was, and I had no idea 🙂.

So I trimmed from around 85 to 11. If I play anything with anybody in the future, we will have to add each other again.

To the OP, you can modify the user blurredvision06 (blurredvision) to peritusONE (peritusONE) since I changed my name here and on Live. Thanks.
