I wonder what the noise level is on the cooler.

The remote - meh. Doesn't look all that different from the 360 media remote that is already on sale. The only way they can differentiate is with price. The Logitech remote is sweet though.

It's just not my type of game. I haven't liked RPG's since SNES days, and this just continues my feeling.

Found this review off the xbox forums, probably going to pick it up:

I just received my intercooler via UPS.

Sound

Let me start off by saying it is a lot quieter than I thought it would be. It does make some noise, but its more you hear air moving than fan noise. I don't hear anything when the game volume is on. I can hear it slightly when on loading screens with no volume from the game.

Looks

It looks great, it matches the system color perfectly, and for the most part you can't see it. It works with your system either vertical or horizontal, and in either position from a straight forward view, it is difficult to see at all. It fits securely into place and has a pass through power connection. Meaning it plugs into your power adapter and then you plug your 360 into the intercooler. It doesn't use a usb port.

How it works

It is moving allot of air. I can actually feel air being sucked in from the air vent holes all around the system. As I really couldn't before. I even put a tissue up to them, lifted the system, and the tissue stuck on. Keep in mind this is not the fan part, but the intake air holes on the sides of the system.

As for the exhaust fans, it is shooting out very warm air very powerfully. The intercooler itself has 3 exhaust fans built in. The air is literally shooting out and its pretty warm. I'm glad that is air coming out of my system and not sticking in there heating it up.

Overall

I would say this product is working very well. I can feel hot air coming pretty powerfully out of the exhaust fans, and more importantly I can actually feel cool air being sucked in much more powerfully from the intake holes. You can hear some noise, mostly the sound of air moving as opposed to fan noise. I can not hear anything with the game volume on normal.

Overall I give this product 2 thumbs up as it does exactly what it says it does, it moves allot of air through the system. Its not to loud, it looks nice, and really isn't even noticeable unless viewing from the side.

After 10 minutes of use.

When I first plugged it in, I felt extremely warm air coming out the back. This is probably do to the fact I was playing for about a hour before the ups dropped it off. Now as I play oblivion for the last 10 minutes with the intercooler on, I paused and felt the air again. It is coming out much cooler out the back. That is a good sign as it means the air inside isn't getting as hot before it?s sucked out the exhaust.
 
I can't wait for tomorrow to get Far Cry, as soon as anyone gets it and starts playing give us some idea of what to expect.

I'm not sure where you're going with that, nevertheless if it keeps it cooler as the chart indicates that is about all I care about.

I noticed that. Very cool. I had gotten annoyed that whenever I found out someone's GamerTag I wasn't near my 360 so I had to remember it. Now I don't have that problem.

I don't think I'm going to purchase this game after playing the demo, but I may still trade in 2 games for it.

So far I'm loving Far Cry :thumbsup:
 
There was B/C update today. Only 3 new games (albeit popular ones), but lots of fixes to the stuff already on the list. Hopefully this means they'll be ramping up on new games shortly...

I downloaded the BF2 demo, but no time to play it yet...

I'll wait for actual reviews to judge the chart. 😛

A series arrangement of fans only improves the pressure - you can still only move as many CFM as the weakest link in the chain. As far as 360 thermals go, I think it's volume of flow and not the pressure that causes overheating. IE - stupid people who suffocate their consoles in glass cases. 😛

I'm mostly disappointed with BF2 in that I can't log into a server. As far as I can tell the only option is Quick Match, and I keep getting a message that the server is full.

Are we talking about the demo? Unfortunately, it took me like 30 refreshes to finally access a server. The problem will probably go away by itself after a few days.

That said, the demo was kind of lame compared to the PC version of the game. Looks like Oblivion and FF XI for me...

naw BF2 is pretty cool..
I thought it was a lot of fun and played very well.
