Pretty fun thus far, runs better in 720p I believe, it is just multiplayer on this demo.

Added: Silver members can download it still its just that they can only play 1 on 1 split screen I believe.

Added: The controls and speed of the gameplay are a bit sluggish although it is better on 720p imo so far. I like how you can call in artillery. Tactical game for sure.

Overall, probably a rental, just another reason to stick with GRAW for me.

I ordered GRAW through Amazon, and they're quoting a ship date of April 15th. WTF? I'd get it somewhere else, but I have a $75 Gift Certificate for them 🙁

Eh, got it on pre-order at my local EB, sux if that is when they are really getting it in. I have seen nothing but 9.0 and up as far as reviews for it thus far, it will be a killer app I believe.

tomorrow is ship date... frys has it already on outpost for 47.

most stores will have wednesday.

Well I'd rather use the money on a game. I've never been one to play vs peopleI don't know (my real life friends dont have a 360) I think once I get a bigger collection I'll spring for it, but 'til then, not now. Of course ghost recon might make me take that jump....

To be fair, not everyone wants to game online with random people, especially when most of said random people apparently haven't hit puberty. I've been thinking I might want to start a Live matchmaking site for people over 21, just so I can avoid the random hordes of teenagers on there.

Anecdote: I was playing some DOA4, and some people thought my voice was deep. It's not. I'm only 23. Sad.

Also, if any AT people feel like some Smash TV, Marble Blast Ultra, PDZ, PGR 3, or DOA 4, the tag is "erwos". Feel free to add me as a friend. I'll even be forgiving if you're under 21, provided you're not an immature idiot. In particular, I wouldn't mind giving "The Outfit" demo a roll this week.

With the games havign such a heavy weight on the live expereince its like only using half the game without it...

the games online flat out rock...

live with PGR3 and DOA4 rock..
im 34 and everyone on my list is in thier mid 20s-40s
there are plenty of us older gamers out there.

ok so with all the live talk, I'm curious about something. Can you play without the headset? Does it show that I won't be wearing it? I mean if the other player is talking, will they know I'm not ignoring them, just don't use the headset? I ask this because at night (Where I'd do most of my playing) I really can't talk loud with others in the house, so I'd prefer just to not use the headset

Yeah, you can play without the headset. It is up to the game on whether or not it shows that you aren't using one. Full Auto shows whether you are using one or not while PGR3 does not for example.

That really ruined my day one time when I hopped on to PGR3 without a headset and some racist punk started off on an obscenity and racist diatribe in the lobby with my son sitting next to me. 🙁

I heard this still works anecdotally. I can pop in Halo at some point to see if the option is still present.

The outfit is really fun, but I keep getting disconnected about 5 minutes into a game EVERY time. Or else the people are really leaving. I hope this isn't a bug.
