Same here. I set my 360 to download it before I left for work but I won't get a shot at it until tomorrow night since I'm going to a Braves game tonight.

All the b!tching and moaning about the use of the Shadowrun license has me interested. :laugh:

So yah ... Forza is like car crack.

I promised myself I would stop playing it at the endurance races ... but oh what did I do tonight? the first friggin endurance and I couldn't put it down!!

Honestly though the endurance races are dumb as hell. I won by more than 1 lap and I lapped 4 cars twice. I mean they could make these races like 20 laps instead of 45 and the outcome would be the same.

Heh I saw that yesterday evening, then I tried to do something with it, and it was still impossible heh.

I may sit down this weekend and try a little harder when I have more free time.

just my luck, i send off my heatsinks to me machined and i get forza2 from gamefly....guess it gets to sit here on my desk until the heatsinks come back....

is the game better than the demo? i wasn't too impressed w/ the demo graphically, looked like a lot of jaggies, like they didn't have AA turned on...

graphics are pretty much identical to the demo however AA is definitely turned on. I honestly can say that I don't remember seeing jaggies at all on the retail game. But then again, I also don't remember jaggies on the demo (not that they weren't there, I just don't remember cause I've been playing the retail game so much).

Quite the week of content for Xbox Live this week.

Tenchu Z and Shadowrun demos yesterday. Overlord demo today. Also a Vampire Rain demo that isn't available for the US.

There's also the Shadowrun machinima from the RvB guys, 1800magic and a couple of game trailers.

Plus, the PacMan Championship Edition is actually well received despite the overhype.

Not necessarily 'quality' but definitely 'quantity'.

Now all we need is an announcement that the 65nm chips are right around the corner and a $100 price drop! :laugh:

I don't know where or how people have the time to do this stuff, but that is pretty amazing. A picture uploader should have been included though, IMO.

Any of you get Shadowrun yet? I've seen the bad reviews but most people that I've talked to who have played the game think it's pretty sweet. I had the beta, but I never had enough time to really play it (i only made it half way through the training).

6/8 - Reminder: Halo 3 Beta ends at midnight PST Sunday June 10th

A sad and gentle reminder that the Halo 3 Public Beta is coming to an end this weekend. In theory, it will come to a close at Midnight, PST on Sunday the 10th of June, a few days after it was originally scheduled to bite the bullet. Followers of the Beta Saga will no doubt remember that the extension was Bungie?s way of saying sorry for the initial 10-14 hour delay for Crackdown users.

The Beta has been a great success for us in terms of the sheer amount of data it allowed us to gather, for matchmaking, networking, general bug-bashing and of course some gameplay elements. As the Beta heads to the great software graveyard in the sky, it?s vital to remember that things you got used to during these short few weeks, are almost certain to change. Some of those changes will be subtle, nuanced, perhaps even invisible. Others will be less subtle ? with shifts in game types, weapon functionality, spawn points and map details. Don?t get attached to anything. But bluntly, most changes are going to be improvements, judging from the feedback we?ve seen.

That is, after all, the nature of a Beta. Find problems, eliminate them, test systems, make improvements. And that?s what we?ve done. The final shipping multiplayer game will be better for it. And you, dear player, will have contributed to that betterment.

Hopefully you?ve also had fun. We never want to ship anything that isn?t enjoyable. Hopefully you?ve enjoyed a small sample of what?s going to be a much bigger game.

Cool, it explains the Game Disc 1 & 2 in the images sent out earlier. I read the IGN article about 20 minutes ago about the 2 game discs, and was wondering what was going on. But this explains that it was just an error on Microsoft's part, and wasn't correct.

Yep. When it hit the various gaming blogs today, all the PS3 fanboys were going, "Blu-Ray FTW!" I figured that the 2nd disc was just some extra content of some sort and wasn't the game spread across multiple discs. Don't try telling that to a fanboy though...

I guess it's bonus interactive content that's only playable on the Xbox 360. It also has something to help configure your TV and Sound. It will only be included in the collectors and Lengendary editions, but not the regular, so it's obviously not needed for the game.
