How does it work? Can you import a skin (template) made in, say, Photoshop, or is everything done in-game, with the ability to import your own graphics. Or, can you only use what graphics the game gives you?

You can only use the in-game editing tool. They gave you a bunch of pre-designed templates, shapes, layers, etc that you can maneuver around to create the paint jobs. I don't understand how some create the more amazing designs with anime characters or even Jack Sparrow but they do it.

More examples here and here

Nice, thanks for the info. I'd still like to pick this up, but I don't think I'd play it too much after the first couple of days, plus I don't have the cash right now.

On a gaming related note, I should mention to my 360 brethren that I have an interview with Gamestop on Monday. I've been looking for a part-time job to supplement my income from my main job, and help pay off some debts that are hanging over my head while still being able to live the lifestyle I've been used to for the past couple of years. So, I'll let you guys know how that goes, and maybe I can be a source of information in the future for gaming related stuff (info I'm allowed to give, anyway). I'm looking forward to the interview, and hopefully being able to work for a gaming company on the side.

I just picked Forza 2 up at Circuit City, and you get any 19.99 game for free. I got Leg Star Wars for free, but ask a clerk to ring up a game because it was marked as 49 bucks. Lego Star Wars, The Outfit, Table Tennis and King Kong were all 19 or less.

New Content for XBL Video Marketplace

Broad range of New Content Coming on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, the Television and Movie Download Service with Something for Everyone

Xbox 360 becomes the first gaming console to offer content from Logo, MTV Networks? channel for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender audience; top anime distributors and CMT, the nation?s #1 country music network

With 7,000 pieces of gaming and entertainment content and counting, Xbox LIVE Marketplace continues to grow as the only online service that offers high definition movies and TV shows for download. This June, the catalogue of content gets even better. With more than 15 entertainment partners, Xbox LIVE offers U.S. members at any age or gender a diverse array of great programming at the click of a button.

After having huge success on Xbox LIVE Marketplace with content from MTV, Comedy Central and VH1, this month MTV Networks is bringing two more properties to the service:

* Country Music Television. On June 6, country music fans on Xbox LIVE will enjoy a great lineup of TV shows from CMT, the #1 country music network in the nation. Fans can download the first seasons of hit shows such as, ?Comedy Stage,? ?Foxworthy?s Big Night Out? and ?Prankville? starting tomorrow, with more series and episodes rolling out this summer.
* Logo. On June 11, Xbox 360 will become the first gaming console to offer content from Logo, the network for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender audience from MTV Networks. Xbox LIVE will offer a bevy of popular Logo shows, from comedies ?Wisecrack,? and ?The Big Gay Sketch Show,? to scripted dramas like ?Noah?s Arc,? and other programs including, ?Curl Girls? and ?Real Momentum Documentaries.?

My thought on the two above: One of these things is not like things is not like the other.

Beginning June 12, two of the biggest anime distributors in the US will join current Xbox LIVE partner ADV Films with popular shows, movies, gamer pics and themes, making LIVE Marketplace an unparalleled online source for quality anime content:

* FUNimation. The epic adventure series ?Samurai 7,? adapted from Akira Kurosawa?s legendry film ?Seven Samurai,? is coming to Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Also coming from FUNimation: ?Trinity Blood,? ?Gunslinger Girl,? and ?Basilisk.?
* Geneon Entertainment. Die-hard fans and those new to the genre alike will enjoy the U.S. HD debut of the anime classic ?Akira,? available exclusively from Geneon on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Also available from Geneon Entertainment at launch: ?Gun Sword,? ?Last Exile,? ?Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo? and ?Lupin the 3rd.?

June will also bring award-winning films and blockbuster hits to Xbox LIVE Marketplace, starting with ?Team America World Police,? which launched in HD on the service on June 1st. Other top new films coming this month include:

* Dreamgirls
* Letters from Iwo Jima
* Shooter
* Black Snake Moan
* Pan?s Labyrinth

I'm so pissed at myself right now. I was going to go pick up Forza 2 today during lunch after finding a BB gift card and $5 off coupon laying around my office at home. I was going to combine that with the $10 gift card you get with buying Forza 2 at BB.

Of course, I left all that at home. So now I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow...that is, if I don't forget all that again.

Does anyone need a copy of Forza 2 Limited Edition?

I have two... I bought one while away on Business, and I came home to a wife that had another waiting for me... so, I have two... :) I'm keeping one of them, but wondered if any of my American friends that can't get it would like a copy?

PM me and we'll talk...

Yeah, I think some in the game media and gamer forums took a seemingly innocuous comment from a guy at that Pac-Man World Championship thing and ran with it way too far. If you put in the context of who said it and where it was said, they should have known it was going to be Pac-Man related and really not all that big.

Granted the Xbox guy that was quoted hyped it up too but you just had to know that was typical of any PR stunt.

Well, to be honest, the new consoles forums are coming soon (within a couple of weeks as far as I know), so we may not even need another thread. The only reason for consolidating was to cut down on numerous posts in Off Topic, something Wii owners didn't seem to figure out (because they are all kiddies), or something the PS3 fans never got a chance to do (because there is nothing to talk about with their system ;)).

Ahh nevermind then. Didn't know a console forum was coming.

So any rumors on what Rare is doing? I can't wait for Banjo (The 360 is missing that, a platform game) but anything else? I miss the N64 Rare games. Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps, etc. I'd love a Rare game for Xmas time.

Not a fan of most of Rare's N64 and Cube games but I would LOVE to see a new Battletoads, Snake Rattle n' Roll or RC Pro-Am (with 4 player online play!). In fact, a new online enabled RC Pro-Am remake with a track editor is a freakin natural for xbox live arcade. PLEASE MAKE IT RARE!!!

oh..its been a week since I called MS and have yet to get my 360 coffin. I know its been sent so I'm just playing the waiting game. <sigh>

I would flip out if they released Killer Instinct 3 or some KI version on XBLA w/live support.
