will this effect his confidence i wonder? closers aren't like starters, a starter can have a couple of bad starts but for closers, wow, they are not allowed to make these kinds of mistakes.

QFT.

lidge didn't make an appearance in game 7 right?

so game 6, he loses to Pujols, Game 2 he loses here.

consecutive appearances consecutive losses. can't be good for lidge.

Sox win Game 2. The irony that Vizcaino tied the game and then tossed Podsednik the game winning homerun.

Oh great.
Thanks a lot.

Just when I thought I was going to be successful in not knowing or caring who was in the world series this year, you had to put spoilers in the topic summary.

😛

But, that's okay... in the time it took me to type this, I forgot one of the teams 🙂

You can't beat the other team and the umpires. White Sox got help from the umps getting here, I wonder how much help they are going to keep giving them. The grand slam should have never happened because that batter should have never come up to bat. Oh well, we will see you in a good stadium on Tuesday.

Umpires get that call wrong often, even the best of them...its just a bitch of a call when they've got a mask on and the ball is going 85-95 miles an hour and they often basically have to rely on the sound.

Only way to avoid mistakes there is to use instant replay.

It blows... I refuse to watch because Angels were robbed. That guy that manages the White Sox sure is strange.

Jesus dude, regardless of one call, the Angels got treated. Deal with it.

Angels batted what, .175? I'm sorry, but you cant expect to win playoffs batting .175.
