I watched it or at least most of it. Thought the Yankees might pull it off. Oh well, Marlins are just delaying the inevitable. ;)

Funny/Interesting things from last night:

1.I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't understand a word of what Alex Gonzalez said - he needs to have a translator like Matsui
2.Looper is a stud to get out of a 1 out bases loaded inning - MVP of the game
3.After not pitching for almost a month, Weaver comes in and gives up the game - anyone remember the Ebay listing for Weaver? I almost feel sorry for the fella, except he made like $5mil this year so I don't feel too bad for him
4.I hope the series goes 7 games, and I'm not sure of the ratings but this MLB post season has been awesome: loveable losers teams, upsets, close games, close series, tons of extra innings - I'm not a huge baseball fan but am really enjoying this post season

I dont know why the Yankees still keep Soriano in the lineup (esp at the No 1 spot)... he is HORRIBLE so far this post-season... keeps striking-out...

on outside breaking balls nonetheless. figured torre would pull him along and say 'for every outside breaking ball you swing at, your going to run 5 laps' or something. sheesh!

I agree. On his last at bat I think he was so confused and frustrated that he just swung at the first 3 pitches and then took a seat. The pitch he struck out on started a foot outside the plate and tailed even further outside and he swung lamely at it. You gotta leave him in for his speed, but it is no good if he can't get on base.

Kinda sad that no ones posted in this thread so far. 'course I'm not really watching either, hence this question - Why did they just pull Wells from the game? Back pain?
