Hi 😉

I downloaded WinME RTM Final (450mb) to do a try before u buy to see if it worth me upgrading from 98se this fall?

Anyways when i install this mofo from either an upgrade or a clean full install i am having the terrible 98se shutdown probs all over again 🙁
When i select shutdown/restart it just goes through the usual motions and then hangs on the black screen, requiring a "hard" shutdown/restart 🙁

My sys is a P3 600, Asus P3V4X (1005 bios),128mb Crucial Cas2 PC133 ram, Sblive 1024, Geforce DDR, D-Link DFE-530TX NIC.

FFS MS, think they'd have sorted this prob out by now? :/

Ive tried to install the 9x 4.22 4in1's but they wont install properly just giving me a registry error alert at the end of install? 🙁

If any of u beta testers have found a way round this please reply 🙂

Before anyone slates me 😉, yes i am goin to buy this as i like it a lot, but i aint gonna buy if this shutdown prob is gonna keep buggin me 🙁 When summit starts to bug me with an os then i just cant live with it 🙁

just tried reinstalling WinME again! and this time just installed the latest drivers for the sblive and didnt install Liveware 3 at all 🙂)

that seems to be the prob! 😉

Liveware appears to be the culprit 🙁

Looks like im gonna have to wait for L'Ware 4 🙁
