Why was Cad banned?

What did Rip say that caused a mod to jump in 8 minutes later and erase it?

But Sultan is free personally attack someone without provocation...with the added bonus of wishing harm come to his family.

I saw Rip's post. Nothing negative was in there other than the fact that Rip questioned the point of the thread because it really wasn't related to P&N. However, a few minutes later, Rip's words were ripped and a comment was inserted by the mod instructing him to PM the mods if he felt there was any issue that needed to be reviewed in regards to the thread.

I've been in these forums since probably 2000, I just lost my password and changed e-mails a few times making it hard to recover (dial-up to dsl to cable, back to dsl). Though I never posted in P/N before a few months ago. Make it six months then for me :)

Darkhawk28,

I'm not the one claiming "education", but if it really matters to you, I have a graduate diploma in Public Accounting (sort of a Masters in Accounting) and am a Chartered Accountant, so it isn't like I'm uneducated. In terms of age, I'm 38. I also happen to be a knight, but Sir Michael isn't the right title.

However, I have asked Sudheer Anne before to justify his whole "educated" line of thought.

Basically, he is saying that us smart people all agree and we're all liberals and against Bush, it is only the dumb ones that don't.

Michael

ps - Moontroll - you may not have cold logic ruling you, but I wouldn't be so proud of the hate you have instead. The hate inside you probably makes you feel warm with passion, but it actually has frozen your heart more than logic ever could.

Actually, the percentage of Democrat vs. Republican shifts to the right as you move up the education scale. A larger percentage of people with nothing more than a high school diploma are democrat than people with advanced degrees. What does that tell you? Any monkey can be a democrat.

Give me some proof of that. Hmmm... so why are most scientists, doctors, researchers and professors Democrat?

If every scientist in the world were a democrat, would that disprove his theory that more high school only grads are democrats?

Not really...

Are you trying to be ironic? You demand proof of his statement, and then turn around and offer a baseless claim yourself. I'm not saying you're wrong or right - I haven't interviewed "most scientists, doctors, researchers, and professors" about their political leanings - but I did find the juxtaposition of your statements hilarious.

New faces are good.

Conservative new faces are better.

I believe strongly in the power of transformation and expiation.

The right wing wackos are our congregation. One of these days they will sing in the choir but not until they bungle along for a few decades.

I'm guessing the Cads and Riprorins have been doing some recruiting lately to try and take back their forum ;) Any other ideas, or is this not a trend at all?

I get more information from US media than from any European media and i would hardly say there are "a lot" of Europeans here, who are they? Me, Czar, Freegeeks (who rarely posts anymore), Fencer128, b00ne (who rarely posts).

Who are the rest of them?

There supposed to show the sheer ignorance of making the statement that Republicans are better educated than Democrats. It can't be proven either way, so why bring it up?

There are liberals,

Bottom line, people are more complex than "liberal" and "conservative". Tags sell people short.

...perhaps you should breakout your "Nazi" tag that you throw around in other posts, then...oh, wait, this isn't a "neocon" thread, so you can keep that tag on ice. :)

I was thinking in general terms as people think of themselves. I can think of another as Nazi-like based on their actions, especially when they work so hard at it. I have no problem calling a son of a bitch a son of a bitch. You will learn to deal with it.

Duuuuude, all that angry, retributive, racist, hard assed, homosexual hating crap is in the Old Testament, which predates Jesus much like the reign of the Emperor Hadrian predates out Bill of Rights.

You say you are a Christian? That you follow the teachings of Jesus Chirst? Well, Jesus was a long haired, sandal wearing, hippie, socialist, loving, inclusive love muffin of a liberal. He loved everyone and ministered to the poor and the socially outcast. Do you?

Anything else is just Dick Cheney in a Jesus wig.

Accept no substitutes.

Moontroll - the difference is that you claim to be operating on a higher plane and like to wrap yourself up with peace and love type talk. Actually, you're more governed by hate than I am. Take the current political debate. You don't love one choice, you hate the other. You come into threads and insult people as bad or worse than those you cast the same stone at.

Me, I love the fact that we have a choice and I love the fact that there is a country with so much freedom that people can argue and openly have two different visions. I actually feel very sad for you because it must be very horrid to live such a bleak life so filled with hate. I get to go to work every day where I'm appreciated and then return home to a family that loves me. My life is filled with love and I feel blessed. I just moved myself and my family to Asia to give them (and me) the benefit of that experience.

I pity you because I remember how you used to post and argue. Now you're a spite-filled troll who is probably worse than that you protest against.

Would you call a person who posts with facts, uses logic and maturity to debate an issue more educated than a person who resort to lies and name calling? If you agree and don't lie to yourself then you can see a trend in anti-bush posters that fall into the less educated category. Go back into other threads debating about the Iraq war and you'll notice about 9 out of 10 anti-bush poster have the words stupid, idiot, moron, dumbass, and NEOCON in them. Anti-bushers sound childish, don't they? President Bush is a conservative and MOST (NOT ALL BUT M0ST) people who are against him tend to be liberals and thus, I would be ashamed to be called a liberal.

Liberals such as John Kerry are either uneducated, dishonest, or simply a pathological liar. For instance, even though the US went to war with Britain, Spain, Italy, Poland, and Australia, John Kerry is still saying that we went to war UNILATERALLY, which means alone. Hypocritical, isn't it? You liberals come on here and recite all these political lies as though it's the holy grale. Can you not see these blatant lies? Liberals claim to be 'smart' and open minded but tend to follow like sheeps.
