...<snip>...With the improvement in the running game, I think Nick would be doing just as well.

The O-line, that's the key right there. O-line has been injured all year for the Eagles. I really think that they are just now getting in stride and hitting their peak. As a result, you're seeing McCoy start to heat up and rack up yards in the last few games. If the O-line was healthy and playing like that all year, I really think Foles's numbers would be a lot better. As it is, maybe they're getting healthy and peaking at the right time...

All true, but you can't deny that Foles has also missed open receivers and thrown turkeys even when not necessarily being all that pressured. In short, the magic Foles of last year has not been with us this year, O-line troubles aside.

WTF is up with the neckbeard ogre in Indy? Why is he playing like a POS?

I think he's a talented QB but that defense can be had by a team with a good O-line. FWIW, wow, didn't Kap look like an amateur against the seahawks?. Maybe Smth was never a deep-ball threat but he never threw the type of idiotic pick's Kap was tossing the other day.

I've been saying this for weeks that if not for the refs, the Niners wouldn't have won most of the games that they won in recent weeks. And even then they barely win.

As expected, Oakland played their Super Bowl last week and are now just Raidering themselves.

Wow, Squealers losing at home to NO, nothing makes me happier than seeing a Squealer fan use his/her "terrible towel" to wipe away the tears from watching them lose at ketchup field..

We suck. Wait, Kaep and Roman suck.
this

Looks like NFL defenses have adjusted to or are adjusting to both Kaep an RGIII.

Btw, where has Vernon Davis been? Is he the new invisible man?

see above. IMO, the lack of Vernon Davis over the last two seasons is the #1 reason that Kaep sucks...and he sucks hard to be ignoring what should be a top 3 TE in this league today. From the day Alex SMith departed, so did Vernon...despite the fact that he reports to the field on game days. And it's not for lack of effort on Vernon's part.

Kaep has just always sucked, when you take the time to look past his few flashy moments (vs GB in that one playoff game--essentially his best moment, which also came when no one had really accumulated tape on him).

I think I mentioned this very point about him ignoring Vernon ~3 weeks into King Kaep's new reign 2 seasons ago, heading into the NFCC game, and certainly throughout last season. Kaep is just effing terrible.

Next week's games can go towards evening the matchup. Seattle has to play Eagles in Philly and SF gets Oak. Seattle losing and SF winning sets up the rematch the following week for who can get to the playoffs. Regardless, I hope neither makes it and AZ holds on.

I just assume that SF/SEA are battling for a wild card spot at this point, not a division spot. SF loses another game, they are almost certainly eliminated, no?

...maybe they can just do a mid-season transfer to the NFC South and claim an default #1 spot? :hmm:

And, why can this Bengals fuckwad throw a challenge flag and get this shit to work? Can you even review for penalties? I know you can't do that for holding and such, why 12 man?

And, at what point does Washington accept that it isn't the QB's fault they are losing. At least, not totally the QBs fault.

The Redskins suck, but McCoy is playing far better than RGIII.

Meanwhile Luck breaks 4000 yards while RGIII warms the bench.

McCoy is playing pretty well. Stick a fork in RGIII, he's done.

The guy (Griffin) needs a fresh start. He's still way to young and has a good amount of talent to be relegated to a backup role.

Probably best that he leaves Washington somehow.

wow, great comeback by Chargers. Flacco also played great on that final drive, were it not for the clutch tackle on SD, Ravens would have had a FG chance.

other than a couple snafus, beloved patriot offense did decent today, their defense was no existent though so in the end it didn't matter.

If anyone can lose a game with :00 left, up by four, it's the Saints.

did that happen?

as to RGIII--yeah he's still too young and certainly in the wrong environment to develop. FWIW, consider that he's had a better 3 seasons than a shitty Drew Brees did his first ~4 seasons in the league.... :whiste:
