RG is referenced in the titles because he is on vacation. The reason they don't seem funny to you is because you are clueless. For those of you who don't like the titles, I have prepared a statement:

Fuck you. If you have any questions you can direct them to that brick wall over there.

PS: If you still don't like the titles feel free to make the threads yourself.

a complaining about the titles is a cottage industry and funny in itself. Have you read the old threads?

b it wasnt funny

Agree.

Suh may want Gerald McCoy type money. I don't know the Lion's cap situation, but they'll have a ton a cash tied up with Megatron, Stafford, and Suh...someone is gonna have to take less, perhaps, or get traded.

One idiot in the Detroit media actually suggested moving Calvin -- dude ought to be shot. If they're gonna trade their best player, you may as well let Suh walk.

That almost like suggesting a trade of Jerry Rice is his prime, to sign a dominate DT back then.

It might be better for Megatron's career if he did move, but it would be a huge hit to the Lions. If he were to get an offer on a team like Denver, NE, GB, etc, it would be his best place to go for a chance to win a SB. You can't compare that to Rice, as he was winning SBs in SF at the time. And even when he went to the Raiders in his twilight, he won an AFC championship. Johnson isn't getting those wins. Hell, they are lucky to make the playoffs.

I was telling my wife the same thing during the GB/Bears shellacking -- what if Rogers/Manning had Megatron?

Dude would have at least two rings by now, but Detroit fans will turn on this team if they moved Calvin now, especially, while he's still in his prime.

You know, Calvin gets away with a lot here...I can tell you. When he drops passes, no one really rips him. But Stafford, Petti-drop, even Ebron is getting killed.

I'd say like Suh walk if need be...Nick Fairley, until getting hurt, was smashing cats. Seeing how we still have a good D line, I'm not trading Calvin to keep Suh.

Detroit is going to end up with another Barry Sanders situation if they don't start doing something to help Megatron. He is going to walk away 5 years too soon, still in his prime with nothing to show for it. He will be fed up with football in general from years of dominating and everyone else fucking up enough so they can't win games.

That's why I think someone needs to take less to keep Suh. We have a dominate D, I don't see why we cannot at least win a playoff game this year, attract a nice FA or two, and work our way to an NFCT game in the next year or so.

But you know, Matt Stafford is the most expendable IMO, and is holding us back. Six years in, and he isn't even top 10 really.

I was really hoping we actually did something to get Palmer before he signed with AZ.

Hey, if Atlanta wins this weekend and the Bengals beat the Saints, they're in first place!

My goodness the NFC South is bad this year.

Perhaps, they want to be the second team in history to make the playoffs with a losing record? I mean, Seattle did beastquake on the Saints that year. Maybe, the Saints are trying to get do the same?

Two RG titles in a row, and neither of them were good

call for immediate ban

lol, the hate.

I agree, btw--I don't follow the reference in this one. It's like if Lupi were making the titles.

Ohhhh: RG = rudeguy , I thought it was Robert Griffin without the sticks.

The Raiders going for a perfect season?

I submit that the Bears are still a worse team (certainly playing worse, anyway). The Raiders are bad, obviously, but I think they are playing "better" than their record indicates.

They have a horrible draw for the division: AFCW and NFCW this year, but I think they win their first game before Chicago wins another. :D

The Bears are much worse because they have some of the best offensive talent in the league and still can't score, even in garbage time.

And, I will say I am glad last night was a blow out. I was worrying I might miss the first half of the MLS playoff game, in hopes the Eagles would lose, but once they decided to slap Scam Newton around I knew I could just change the channel and not come back.

Raiders are IN the AFCW, so that's pretty rough... but playing the AFCE is bad too since the Bills and Dolphins are actually fairly competent this year.

Denver's schedule looked rough, but Oakland has pretty much the same schedule AND they have to play Denver twice. That must suck :\

heh..I will only get to see SNF because of the 49ers and Raiders. :\

I'm sure watching Kap flounder about will get the heart racing as well! At least, Aldon Smith will get an easy week to come back to. Shake the rust off while beating up some some high school players is better than having to come back to say Seattle at CenturyLink.

A lot of bad news today.

Santa Clara’s all world super stud LB Patrick Willis: Out for the Season.

Seattle’s NT Brandon Mebane: Out for the Season. This will hurt as Seattle has to Face Charles (KC), McCoy and Sproles (Philly), and Gore twice (San Fran) in 4 of the last 7 games. And with Palmer down I think Arizona may try to ride Ellington. Mebane was the core of the Seattle run defense and having an excellent year and the reason Seattle has the lowest yards per carry in the league. I expect Kam Chancellor to rush back (not good) and continue to struggle. Seattle would be a LOT better off making him get right, even if it means a loss now, to get a healthy Kam back for the final push and into the playoffs.

As a Seattle fan I am sad to see Palmer hurt. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. Arizona has gutted out a lot of hurdles to an impressive 8-1 start. If my Hawks want legit respect it would have been through besting Arizona. You never want to win because the other teams best players are out.

If i could have Suh or CJ for the next 5-6 years i'd pick Suh every time, he's younger and never really been hurt, CJ's been getting dinged up a lot lately and is 29 now, both are dominant players at their positions.

CJ won't be 30 until the start of next season and is still in top form. It was only 2 seasons ago he almost hit 2,000 receiving yards. He also has zero on and off field issues, as far as I'm aware of.

Suh is 2 years younger (more like 1 and a half, as he is turing 28 in January) and has issues on field. He has cleaned them up this season, but he has had problems with his style of play.

Suh could be argued to be a top 10 DT, but nobody can argue Megatron is not a the number 1 receiver in the game.
