Awesome movie! Movie of the summer!

Reminds me a little bit of the first Spiderman because Peter Parker wanted Mary Jane and at the ending he did. Though I guess all big blockbusters need a love story. Even Titanic has one.

That's why I watch movies of this type in the mornings. Can't stand fanboys cheering and clapping during a movie, it's not a live show! People cheering during the movie is akin to a cell phone ringing, it's annoying and detracts from the show.

I'm trying to figure out the body count . . . Jazz died, I know for sure.

Bonecrusher got owned by Optimus . . .

Blackout got taken out.

Frenzy got taken out.

Devastator, gone.

Megatron . . . taken out.

What happened to Barricade (the police car) and Scorponok? Was he on Blackout's back?



Everybody seems to really want the Dinobots in the sequel, but I don't know. It might be hard to pull off. And, they unfortunately can't use the Constructicons 'cuz they named the tank Devastator.

I think that was a serious flaw interjected into the story as the All Spark also gave machines their personality as well as life. But with how easy the two camps made extra machines in the series, I wonder why they really needed the All Spark in the first place 😛.

What we need is some of the combining transformers like Compubots, Destructicons, Terrorcons, etc.

Best movie I've seen all summer! I was NOT disappointed! The fight scene felt a little long, like Pirates of the Caribbean 3, but the movie was still really good. Optimus was a little out of character, but overall I think they did a tremendous job!

And now Camaro = hawt 😀

Saw this. It's quite good. If only it had come out 15 years ago, when I first on the edge of my consciousness felt like the future could hold for me a real-life action movie of Transformers. I'm really too old to like it as much now, and kids these days are not looking at transformers with the same original characters, so the whole thing was a bit late. Still overall good, my main complaint being it was hard to really see what was going on in a lot of the action scene; close-ups on the robots were too much and it was a bit confusing.
 
just got back....that was AWESOME!

movie did not disappoint.

I have 1 question though....

why would the all spark kill megatron? if anything, wouldn't it make him stronger? I guess I need to read up on it.

Well in the cartoon the Energon cubes was the ticket, in the movie the All-Spark was like the life-giving thing, but if they put it in their chest it kills them. Plus Megatron was Optimus' brother (???) which is why he wanted to sacrifice himself and not kill his brother.

You never saw Scorponok again after he got beaten up on and went underground. I have no clue if he and Blackout reunited before the final battle.

That's a good question about Barricade. I don't recall seeing him after the chase on the freeway. I'm going to see the movie again tomorrow so I'll have to keep a close eye.

The funny thing is, the toy's name is Brawl while he's called Devastator in the movie.

Per the Wiki page that someone already linked, they want to introduce the Dinobots, the Constructicons, and Soundwave in the next movie.

No. The AllSpark is closer to the Matrix of Leadership/Creation Matrix...though not really, since it doesn't kill a Transformer when it merges with them.
 
This movie was ridiculously entertaining. I almost shot a load when Starscream started to fight the other F22's in the air but they cut that scene way too short.
 
Why did the cube only create evil decepticons?

Did anyone notice when the Xbox was turned into a transformer it made the Xbox signature sound? And then I think it overheated and had to be sent back to Cybertron to get refurbed.

wait, did megatron sacrifice himself to save his brother prime?

I thought the kid put the cube into megatron because he heard prime telling him it would kill him(prime)...so he(kid) picked megatron instead to save prime.

In his post, he's referring to Optimus not wanting to kill Megatron.
