Most rumors have iPod/iTunes updates as the primary focus, but as usual, we won't know until tomorrow.

Please apple fix the 2.0 firmware - its JUNK!

Looking forward to the new iTunes 8.0 - from the rumors it looks pretty cool.

Sure as hell hope iTunes 8.0 fixes all the app problems as well, my last sync took 3.5 hours (and thats with backups turned off)

macbooks were supposed to be upgraded but the talks of that stopped over at macrumors with all these nano leak news.

Have you tried connecting your iPhone to your system directly? I have heard that if you do that, directly connect your iPhone sans any USB hubs you might have, that your backup and sync times will be greatly reduced. I am not real sure why this might be so, but apparently it works.
 
My backups, in general, take close to an hour. It's kinda crazy... it's only what like 1GB of data? It shouldn't take more than 5-10 mins.

Looks like Genius Shuffle will find songs that go well together. IIRC, Party just took songs at random?

Volume knobs on the side... slightly different format (bit thinner, more steel look instead of front plastic bezel).

I have a 16 GB touch and was worried the new one would be way better and include GPS. Seems like it's not a huge difference and there's no GPS so I'm not sad 🙂

Yeah, I guess. It just doesn't seem like a huge difference to call it a real "redesign" to me. At least they officially announced iPhone software 2.1. Hopefully, it addresses a lot of bugs.
