This is kinda OT, but Spielberg and Clint Eastwood are teaming up to create a movie based on the awesome book, Flags of Our Fathers.

Coauthor Ron Powers reminds me of Shifty Powers from Band of Brothers 1 because of the name. I think about shifty everytime I look at the book.

After that, I'll start "Ghost Soldiers."

I will buy no more books for a year. I have about 20 that I want to read.

If you liked War As I Knew It, the Sherman Memoirs are pretty good too.

The Bourne series is good too. I read all 3 in a weekend.

It's amazing how little most people know about the Pacific War. Flyboys really impressed me with how little I was taught in HS and college about the subject.

An Army At Dawn is one of the best war books I have ever read. A lot of reading but very well put together.
