It seems like everyone that bought the game has to make their own thread, I think we need an official one or something. It's a good game, but please dear lord... stop! 😀

not tired yet...in fact i have some questions.......
1. is the redeemer only on that map from the demo?
2. what do you guys think of the new onslaught maps? I was a little disappointed but I do love the outdoor spacy, star wars type map.

I think it's a vast improvement over ut2k3. Assault and Onslaught are so much fun... I played Red Planet last night.. there was this monster vehicle, I didnt read the book so i dont know it's name, but it was gigantic and basically caused redeemer size explosions where it fired. awesome stuff

are the vehicles worth $40 or whatever its going for? i didnt like 2k3 at all, gameplay wasnt as fun to me as UT original...

Order from ebgames.com... $40 there with a $20 mail-in for online gift coupon plus $10 if you've got the cover from your original ut2k3 instructions. $10 game. and it's even worth it for a $40 game.
 
The game is completely worth buying. I preordered the special edition unlike some of the whiners that are complaining they were unable to get it... what do you expect? That you could waltz into the store and pick one up with that many preorders? At my local EB there were over 75 preorders, and I don't live in a huge city. The leviathan is almost unreasonably huge it can turn the tides of the game lol... I went into the main base with one then deployed it, shot the core once took it from 100% to 23% hehe it was great, fired two shots and it was done, and the entire time people were shooting at me and unable to kill the beast.

i ain't no lifer either, but if you put the word "thread" right after "ut2k4" you may actually make some sense and get a little more traffic on your thread. even though ut2k4 threads have been played out, and i don't see this thread as a whopping "official" success.

a) about 2 mins ago someone just started a new UT2k4 thread, hence the whole point of this thread is pointless 😉
b) the original poster is the only one keeping the thread alive- he's posted like 1/2 the messages.

i call this thread dead by mid afternoon!!
