What do you guys think? Its the first commercial break and the show didn't pick up my interest so far... I don't know... it`s weird... its more like a Sci-Fi channel show... meh...

Discuss.

So somehow, wherever they went when they disappeared, they all got some kind of power. I guess the series will just show how each one discovers their power and either uses it for good or evil?

anyone notice the XFiles type music at the end. that was cheesy.

I like it. I'm interested in seeing where the show goes.
Sundays were the only days I had scheduled time to watch a television show (The Sopranos) but I'll put Sundays at 9 aside to watch this series.

The moral: Don't trust aliens!

OMFG. I just can't watch any more. @#%@#% moron writers. :p

I can only hope they make explainations for their crap later in the show. I just can't stand to watch and see.
Lets see, just off the top of my head...

...wait, it looks like it might be landing.. near mt Rainier... and what, a minute later every @%@# one is there at the landing in time to see it???
how about the poor writing skills relying on coincidence. 4400 people. Not really that many considering the population and spread over 65 years. Yet still, one of the returnees just happens to be related to someone in a position to work at 'homesec' and interview them?
Better yet, the war vet and Lily, his gal's granddaughter and both were 'taken'? Give me a @%@#'ing break.
Top that with poor acting and dialogue... ' He's the one who went MIA. what's to say he wont do that again?' 'I do!'. :p

And that was just in the first 30 minutes. :disgust:

I also had to wonder about their trying to blast the comet with nukes. I guess they never did claim how big it was. Maybe a dozen nukes may have been able to break it apart effectively that the remains would burn up in the atmosphere, but I have serious doubts about it. More likely poor science and stupid writers.
