I agree. Could have taken out Marty and the idol in one vote. They could vote off Kelly B. anytime they wanted to. Marty is around for a minimum of two more shows since he still has the idol.
 
So much luz tonight. The new old people tribe votes of on of the old, but not one if not the most underperforming one which probably means they will be showing up at council more often than not. And because most of the youngins continue to show that they are idiots, not only do the let marty live for another week, but the vote off a youngin reducing their number advantage, and now marty will be more inclined to play an idol next council so who knows how many more weeks that vote allows him to stay.
 
Agreed. Voting Kelly B off was just dumb. It reduces the "Young Numbers" by 1, and you know Marty has an idol so he will be around for 2 more tribals. He could be there long enough to outlast the youngers' numbers, and then its all bets are off.

Keeping Danny? Duuuuuuuuuuuuumb. He's got less of a leg than Kelly B!
 
so, within 30 seconds of show starting we get "dan better not cost us in the next challenge" followed by "we need to vote allina off next".

and little ole hoity-toity jane wasn't looking so happy near the end when there was a big vote tie with one to go.

Bad decision on Marty's part. There was no guarantee that he wouldn't be voted out after giving away the idol and no guarantee to get it back as Sash promised it if the team lost the next immunity idol challenge. He would have been better served to play the idol, get Jill (possibly Jane) kicked out on the re-vote assuming Marty, Fabio, and Kelly S vote for her. Now Marty is going into the merge down in allies (I believe he only has Dan left from his original alliance) and someone on an opposing alliance with an immunity idol, actually 2 since Nay has one and is "tight" with Brenda's alliance.
 
Even though Marty gave the idol away, he didn't get voted off. That shocked the shit out of me. Pretty cool immunity challenge.

Jane showing the kids how its done. Keeping Marty around just seems like a real dumb move. Don't know who keeps pulling the strings to keep saving his butt. Sash comes off as a cocky sonofabitch. Brenda and Nay just spells drama. And Alina... what the hell was she thinking admitting to being part of what Nay did. Dumbest Survivor ever.
 
If janr hangs around, she'll end up winning just like the chick that beat out colby. Nay has a good chance at hanging around cause everyone's starting to realize she's getting no votes at the end. Sash needs to be careful or he will either get booted for scheming too much or get no votes at the end.and somehow dan the man still hangs around with no one even thinking about dropping his ass. And now that we are at the individual stage were being around the weak (and unlikely to get votes at the final) is good, he could easily slide several councils.

I'd put the most likely to win right now as chase or jane unless the others manage to boot them out first.
 
i think Nay is the first chick I have genuinely wanted to punch in the face. i cannot stand hearing her voice and her attitude.

i also don't understand why jan has such a grudge against marty, it really seems petty at this point in the game.

i hope marty doesn't get voted off though. he is one of the only interesting people to watch on this season of survivor, because as a whole, this is a pretty lame season compared to the others.
 
oh and on another note, did anybody notice how fat Jerri got on that cancer commercial that had a ton of older survivors?

I hate her. It isn't a "love to hate her" thing either, I really hate her.

Survivor needs a complete retooling, it's been "high school cliques unleashed" since the second season. I wish eco-challenge would come back...
 
Well, those cliques exist for a reason. And they have done things to shake it up, but they always gravitate back to the same things.

And let's not forget that she has an idol everyone else has pretty much forgotten has ever existed, so even if she really manages to piss off someone(s) good enough she has a 1 vote reprieve.
Unless a couple of these peeps get real about what's going on (like, they listen and follow marty as sad as that sounds), I could easily see the final grouping being sash, chase, brenda, nay, and jane. Tossing in/slightly modifying incase someone goes on a challenge winning streak.
