Yeah I suck at ray surfing too.

This game is totally sweet and I'm in no rush to finish it. I'm going to get all the stars before I beat the game.

doesn't everyone know what the surprise is by now? I've seen it spoiled so many times

I'm still in no rush to finish it with hopefully all the stars. I'm determined now.. but I've got 108 left to go.. haha

FYI, I think you can only get 105 stars without beating bowser. THe last 15 come on the purple comet after he is defeated.

Is it just me or everytime you turn the game on you always start with 4 lives? What happens when you lose them all?

I'm up to 48 stars. Some of the comet stars are pretty tough, especially daredevil.

I've played it for about 2 hours only gotten a couple stars and the answer is most definitely YES! It she loved Mario 64 she'll love this. Although it does take getting used to with the wall walking and upside down and all that crazy stuff...i really love the broken up level design and shooting from planetoid to planetoid

I really did not enjoy the swimming levels. The controls are just too rough.

FYI, the ray surfing is much easier if you hold the controller up and down rather than point it at the screen.

Bee Suit is cool, ray surfing not so cool. I'll try to hold the controller up and down, maybe that will help.

I was kind of thinking that SMG wasn't sucking me in as much as Twilight Princess did but then I realized I had just played it for over 3 hours in a sitting without realizing it.

A lot of ppl rag on Nintendo for not coming out with more original newer titles, but there really is no equal on any console for the Zelda and Mario titles. They are just in a league of their own as far as video games go.

FYI. If you go into the observatory, come out and head over to the garagae, you can continue getting extra lives there. I did it about 20 times initially, and after I started leaving the game and coming back, I had only 4 lives left . lol!!!!
