My subscription just ran out. I haven't been on this non-subscriber server for 2 years. The ads are really annoying. I wish the side ad was at least on the right and not on the left.

I hear ya. Mine bit it around 11:00 tonight :| The main reason I subscribed was to get away from the ads....

I don't see any ads, but there is an annoying space on the left.

The main difference for me is the PM limit, and the speed! It really is slower. The subscriber servers were lightning fast, there is a noticable lag when doing anything now. I can watch the "## items remaining" count down in large threads.. I could never do that before.

Oh well.. I'm getting used to it, heh.

I think it's pretty damn funny that they're gonna keep the subscriber server running specifically for you for the next 1.5 years or so. :D


Edit: Forgot that they'll probably let the mods stay on the subscriber server for the duration also.

and as there are going to be fewer and fewer subscribers, the subscribers server should FLY till it's over for everyone. :(
