Actually, in the movie, he uses 4 lightsabers. He doesn't use the force. He collects the lightsabers from all the Jedis he's killed.

Qui-Gon is going to play a bigger role than you probably think. He was discussed more in AOTC than people probably remember.
First, the voice thing. Why would they include him screaming "Anakin, NOOOOOO" for no reason.
Secondly, he didn't disappear when he died and Lucas has told that this will be explained to us.
Thirdly, when Dooku is talking to Obi-Wan he says "I only wish Qui-Gon were alive. I could really use his help right now." Obi-Wan says "Qui-Gon Ginn would never join you" and Dooku replies "don't be so sure of it" Then Dooku goes on for a while about how Qui-Gon knew of the corruption of the corruption in the Senate etc. etc.
Fouthly, if Qui-Gon was indeed helping Dooku and Sidious that would definitely explain why he was so bent on getting Anakin trained. The Emperor probably foresaw Anakin joining the Dark Side and wanted him trained in the mean time.

So Qui-Gon was a traitor?

he is a robot so does not use the force (he is a main bad ass in Clone Wars)
he does use 2 swords though and is just purely awsome

ok i gotta tell this story
at the movie theatre we're sitting there waiting for previews to start.
this 15-17 year old kid has this light saber out and he's walking around like he's darth vadar right....so like he goes around to each row in the theatre and puts his lightsaber up to the first person in the rows neck and "pretends" to cut their head off. so i'm watching this guy and i'm laughing pretty good....and all of a sudden this guy that the kid messed with stands up and he looks like he's about to beat the living sh!t out of this kid with his fist. boy was I ever wrong...humanity....is lost....words to not even describe the....sadness that unvayed after this. by this time the previews were up...the angered guy gets up and starts cursing at the kid....i was sure a punch to the face was coming soon. NOPE THE GUY PULLED OUT ANOTHER LIGHTSABER. AND FCKIN DUELED THIS KID IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLE WHILE THE PREVIEWS WERE SHOWING. WHAT.............THE.............-_-
