You could see her face IIRC, so they have to be hers. Not bad at all for a woman her age!

But more importantly, that episode was just great. The random violence was welcome (though, once again, nobody was killed). And, though my girlfriend says that I say this every week, that TRULY was the funniest episode of Sopranos ever. Hilarious!

I noticed the bathroom was lit perfectly so Carmella's pooch didn't show. The teacher/faculty advisor that dumped Carmella was a jerk, although he may not end up with his balls & other argans stuffed into another one of his orifices after they've been cut off.

Was disappointed Tony B is going crooked, although you knew it was going to happen.

Funny that AJ's teacher seemed prejudiced against Italians after all. Although he was plagerizing as charged.

I respectfully disagree with everything you said, except the part about the bathroom lighting. ;)

Man, I'm psyched that Tony B is getting into the game. The fish-out-of-water thing, though obvious, was a good visual. Plus, it was hilarious to see him blow up at nothing.

I also really liked Carmella yelling at the teacher to watch himself. It's not the first time she's done that, and I think it shows that she really does like the mobster lifestyle and the fact that nobody can mess with her. Just like she strong-armed her neighbor and got Meadow into Columbia. Between those two incidents, I think that even if she did have feelings for him, they were predicated on some level on his ability to help out AJ.

Yep, that slipped out just a little too easily for her not to think about it a lot.

I liked the way Carmella's priest wouldn't cut her any slack over the adultry & how teh guy Carmella was sleeping with kept having his sexual preferences questioned...

f*g is a banned word?

Shows why Tony B was in prison in the first place, he burned through the found money & backslid pretty quickly into sociopath mobster mode.

The unanswered question in my mind is where exactly did that money come from? Were those guys somehow connected to Tony? It seems a little too convenient for some low level dealers to toss a bag like that unless the cops were hot on their heels. Since no cops ever appeared I have to wonder... As for Carm each season has had her avoiding facing up directly to her depth of involvement in the way Tony makes a living and her tacit acceptance of it. The way she played that guy and seeming be able to put out of her mind what she was doing was fascinating to watch. Of all people for her to talk to about it she chooses the priest who has his own issues with dealing with the mobsters in his parrish and how he benefits from it. So far I am loving this season.

No cops appeared, but you could hear the sirens. I think that if it had been Tony, they would have shown that it was him by now. Just my opinion.

and what would be the motive for tony to drop off a bag of drugs and 10k in cash for tony b.?

also is Tony B the only one left out of the people who got out of jail that isnt dead or sent back

i know the woman was killed along with her son, and feech was sent back to prison

The whole inevitable "Tony B gets back into the mob" thing came off very forced. It had to happen in some way but beating the Korean up just because he was tired and his girlfriend was nagging him? I don't buy it. If there was more to it they didn't do a good job setting it up (the whole gambling end of it).

I was kind of happy to see Tony B getting straight but you knew he was eventually getting pulled back in. This was a lame way to do it.

Yep, I was hoping for a revenge kind of thing, not "Here's Mr Sociopath"

That was my main problem with this episode as well. The whole money thrown at his feet plot device was weak and forced. Plus the episode up to that point was boring. The end started to pick up and will hopefully lead to an interesting episode next week. I guess I was expecting more after last week's awesome episode.

Eh, I don't see the need for much set up there. He tried the straight way, but one little taste of what he was missing and he was drawn right back in. It's as easy at that and was portrayed as such. No great drawn out moral dilemma or tragic acceptance of his thuggish nature. He just snapped.

yeah i agree with what was said before, tony b.'s explosion was a little forced.

the sad thing is that it wouldnt have taken much to make it seem believable, the korean could have just said something inapporiate or tony b. could have slept with the koreans daughter and the korean found out...either of these would ahve taken an extra minute or 2, but instead they just made him explode on nothing

I am surprised that no one else caught this, last week when they opened up the gun closet there was a hand grenade in there, this week when they opened it the grenade was gone! Where did that grenade go?

I'm not too sure the writers/script supervisor care much for explaining what happened to a grenade, perhaps Carmella intends to "quiet" Father Phil :)

I'm still uncertain as to why Tony B. suddenly goes crazy. Some nagging and poor English seems hardly the motivation to snap.

Carmella naked! Ewww...
Now the Korean's daughter... think unsexy thoughts, think unsexy thoughts...

Well, I found out that the grenade was shown in the first episode this season when they opened up the gun closet to protect the family from the bear, here is a quote I found on another site.

Carmela grabs a key out of the cookie jar, and uses it to unlock some sort of hidden cabinet in the dining room. Inside, they find an AK-47, a pistol, and a hand grenade, which the camera lingers on just long enough to ensure that everyone will be wondering if and when we'll be seeing it explode.

It isnt a matter of them wanting to explain something inconsequential, the contents of the cabinet were put right in front of you, twice, both times in a conspicuous manner, once by the grenades presence and then again by its absence!

Here is a cap from this weeks episode showing the cabinet with no grenade...............No Grenade!

I knew from the season previews Steve Buscemi was going to "turn bad." I actually thought he handled the acting part of it really well (he plays a better bad guy.) The bag of money part was horrible writing (not to mention the way the car was driven???) Reminds me of the scene where Pauly and Chris kill that waiter in the parking lot, totally unbelievable.

yeah the parking lot waiter thing was ridiculous.. can't believe they got away with that. the whole rest of the restaurant staff would have known exactly who did it (or at least which party did it)

also thought the whole snapping thing of Tony B was forced and rushed...
