What?! What was wrong with it?Originally posted by: werk
1) eew.
2) I have to say this episode sucked.
I respectfully disagree with everything you said, except the part about the bathroom lighting.Originally posted by: Pliablemoose
I noticed the bathroom was lit perfectly so Carmella's pooch didn't show. The teacher/faculty advisor that dumped Carmella was a jerk, although he may not end up with his balls & other argans stuffed into another one of his orifices after they've been cut off.
Was disappointed Tony B is going crooked, although you knew it was going to happen.
Funny that AJ's teacher seemed prejudiced against Italians after all. Although he was plagerizing as charged.
I also really liked Carmella yelling at the teacher to watch himself. It's not the first time she's done that, and I think it shows that she really does like the mobster lifestyle and the fact that nobody can mess with her. Just like she strong-armed her neighbor and got Meadow into Columbia. Between those two incidents, I think that even if she did have feelings for him, they were predicated on some level on his ability to help out AJ.

so what was the reason Tony B beat up the Korean?
is it because he was doing all the labor work and they were still going to split theprofits

Shows why Tony B was in prison in the first place, he burned through the found money & backslid pretty quickly into sociopath mobster mode.
No cops appeared, but you could hear the sirens. I think that if it had been Tony, they would have shown that it was him by now. Just my opinion.Originally posted by: Linflas
The unanswered question in my mind is where exactly did that money come from? Were those guys somehow connected to Tony? It seems a little too convenient for some low level dealers to toss a bag like that unless the cops were hot on their heels. Since no cops ever appeared I have to wonder... As for Carm each season has had her avoiding facing up directly to her depth of involvement in the way Tony makes a living and her tacit acceptance of it. The way she played that guy and seeming be able to put out of her mind what she was doing was fascinating to watch. Of all people for her to talk to about it she chooses the priest who has his own issues with dealing with the mobsters in his parrish and how he benefits from it. So far I am loving this season.

The whole inevitable "Tony B gets back into the mob" thing came off very forced. It had to happen in some way but beating the Korean up just because he was tired and his girlfriend was nagging him? I don't buy it. If there was more to it they didn't do a good job setting it up (the whole gambling end of it).
I was kind of happy to see Tony B getting straight but you knew he was eventually getting pulled back in. This was a lame way to do it.
That was my main problem with this episode as well. The whole money thrown at his feet plot device was weak and forced. Plus the episode up to that point was boring. The end started to pick up and will hopefully lead to an interesting episode next week. I guess I was expecting more after last week's awesome episode.Originally posted by: dwell

Carmela grabs a key out of the cookie jar, and uses it to unlock some sort of hidden cabinet in the dining room. Inside, they find an AK-47, a pistol, and a hand grenade, which the camera lingers on just long enough to ensure that everyone will be wondering if and when we'll be seeing it explode.
