Official Sony E3 press conference thread

Finally a release date for Last Guardian.

God of war looks to be a very different game than before. More in the style of Uncharted or Last of Us than what I remember.
 
I have high hopes for Horizon Zero Dawn. Just hope it doesn't disappoint in some significant way like Guerrilla Games' other releases
 
So far this has been a better conference than MS's. Some cool games coming out that seem to be more varied than MSs offerings.

Yeah but there's like some stuff shown we have no clue about. A pre-rendered trailer that gives us no background on the game itself for example.

edit: lol most of the audience is bored to death now. Almost no reaction to some of this VR stuff
 
I'm talking about God of War that looks like a more methodical game like Dark Souls. Horizon Zero Dawn. Detroit looked weird and interesting. RE7 has me very interested to see where the VR stuff goes. I'm a little interested in their VR stuff depending on how many games they throw out there.

The FF15 VR reel was crickets lol
 
Well, when they don't show gameplay and give no background story on it, I can't care about it. Especially when it's all pre-rendered scenes.

Cause they made it too cheesey. The in game characters wearing VR headsets and giving the audience a thumbs up? That's just too lame.

Which game are you talking about? God of War was playable and so was Horizon. Detroit showed gameplay features. Last Guardian was playable in previous conferences.

They showed some game, like post apocalyptic. guy was like some biker...dunno the name.

Man...more remastered stuff. Crash 1,2, and Warped. Good games for the time but...

He said it was all real time but of course that's pretty meaningless. I like Reedus though so he could lend a good VA to the game.

Days Gone, that's the game they showed all pre-rendered. Now they show it in action. Reminds me a little bit of Last of Us at first glance.

Yea I'm not a fan of yet another zombie game. I'm kinda zombie'd out but if it's different enough I guess it could be good but that will have to wait and see.
 
Kind of ended on a low note if you ask me. No big reveal or anything.

Well, at least we know there are games coming which is what I wanted. I expected a little blurb about new console but they were silent. I'm surprised since MS went all in on Hardware, but I do think it's better Sony went the software route and just showed new games coming rather than hardware talk. I just thought they would have an updated model for x-mas with UHD drive etc. Guess they are just going to do the current system and the Neo with no 3rd option.
