My dream came true!

Why is this so great? Because Sonos only sells ONE remote control, which looks like an ancient, bloated iPod, and costs $400. Yes, that's right - four hundred beans for a remote control. Granted it's nice and has a color screen, but nonetheless this is 2008 man!
If you're not familiar with them, Sonos makes the best whole-house audio system on the market, bar none. Their system works off a wireless proprietary mesh network and works EXTREMELY well (you just need to connect one ZonePlayer or ZoneBridge to your network via Ethernet to give it the data connection for music). They have 3 types of ZonePlayers: Amped, no Amp, Bridge. The amped version has 55w per channel, the no Amp version is just a streamer (useful if you have an amp or receiver, or powered speakers), and Bridge acts as an extender if you need more range (like to go to a garage from the main house or something). Pricing is $500, $350, and $100 respectively.
The ZonePlayer 120 (amped) has speaker outputs plus a sub pre-out and analog audio input, while the ZonePlayer 90 (no Amp) has analog and digital (both coax and toslink) output plus analog audio input. This means that each ZonePlayer also acts as an input device - you can plug in your radio, computer, iPod dock, television, whatever you'd like and send it to any room you'd like. This is hands-down the best and most amazing whole-house audio system on the market. Now if I could only convince them to do an amplified in-wall system so I could hide the suckers...well, looks like I'm abandoning my Squeezebox project!
Boyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy am I excited
