I have Thursday and Friday off this week and it would seem that the weather is going to be nice... I'd like to go on a road trip, but i'm pretty stuck for ideas.

I live here, and i'm willing to drive a reasonable (<6 hrs) distance to get whereever i'm going..

Ideas?

Are you an amusement park fan? How about travelling to the Mecca of roller coasters, Cedar Point? Looks like travelling to Sandusky should take about seven hours.

Actually I think the tranny might be in Woodstock right now. That shouldn't be a far drive at all. Just pick it up in a uhaul and come meet me in Atlanta. That is only a 20 hour drive. I will pay for gas and let you sleep on my floor before you drive back. Sound good?

If only I had known about this a week ago... my roommate just went down to Atlanta to visit his mom.

I was just pulling your leg about sleeping on the floor. I was trying to come off as funny. The transmission is a 4r70w ford tranmission. Have you ever been to King Street in Woodstock? Now I know this would be to long of a drive. The place that built it has already charged me for shipping it by freight truck. It wasn't cheap.

BTW, what part of Atlanta is your roomate from?

OMG...after riding the Millenium Force, every other coaster in existence immediately becomes....obsolete! Couple of years ago I had the opportunity to partipate in Cedar Point's end of the summer "Coaster Mania", where the park opens at night and only the six most popular coasters are open. We had to have rode the Millenium Force over 25 times that night! Simply incredible experience

I know. I've been to Woodstock a few times, it's about 30 minutes from my house.

As for my roommate, I want to say his mom lives in/around Smyrna but i'm not 100% sure.
