Real Madrid - Need I say more about them? :)

Genk - According to the site, they were last year's champions at the Belgian (I think) league.

This should be another interesting one. TSN covers the match for Canada, but this site tells me nothing about any American stations broadcasting it.

By the way, anybody catch Bayern-München vs. Deportivo de La Coruna last week?

And FYI, the next match for Real Madrid will be next Wednesday (same time) against Athens.

AC Milan played Deportivo La Coruna today on ESPN 2. It was great. Filippo Inzaghi was INSANE.

Wish i could see the Real Madrid vs Genk game, though i really don't know who the hell Genk is.

I'm still a new soccer fan, and still waiting to see my first Manchester United game. They need to show some of their games already dammit.

Hey I went to teh Man United game vs Bayer Leverkusen last night. They wore those ugly blue jerseys and played like crap. We ended up sitting in the 3rd row and I got some pictures but a lot of em got ruined cause there was a fence in front of me and the camera focused on the fence :| Anyways....if you want to see pictures from the game I have them on my website. I also have pictures from other games I have been to over here.

PM me for the link

too bad American TV stations won't even air 20percent of what's going on... (they are not airing the Madrid v Genk game in Los Angeles for sure)

oh, they are, however, airing the AC Milan vs Bayer Muiich game on October Tues 1st 11:30 am (USA time)
set your clocks guys...
(oh wait, this is not world cup no more, oh well set your clocks anyways to tell you its time to leave your work/school)

and holy cow, Gobadgrs, you went to a Man U game in a 3rd row? sweett... those pictures weren't that bad,

Wow 6-0, easy win for Real tonight.
I didn't get to see the match, but I'll be sure to watch the highlights later.

I think it's going to take a lot to stop Real again this year, although hopefully Man United will be the team to do it :D

I am working in Germany right now. I met a guy here who works for leverkusen and he set me up with the tickets. I paid 80 Euros ~~80 bucks. Those were the pictures that turned out. The stadium wasn't lit as well as it was supposed to be so a lot didnt come out. Directly in front of us was a fence, and although I took pictures at the exact moments Man U scored their goals, the camera focused on the fence :disgust: Anyways I am going to a Bayern Munich game in 2 weeks so I will let you guys know when they are posted. I also got lucky on Monday and got tickets to Arsenal vs Borussia Dortmund. They sold out in 20 minutes so I feel fortunate. The ticket was only 30 bucks. I am sitting in the top tiers in the closest section at the top of one of the 18 yard boxes. I'll post those pictures as well. And one more thing. I am taking a trip to England in Dec. My christmas gift was a ticket to Man U vs Arsenal at Old Trafford. Hopefully the pictures will turn out better because its a daytime game. I'll let you guys all know. I might post a few more pics of the Man U game but I have to go through them all and see what I can do with them. I took about 60.

I went through all of my photos and I could only find 1 other one that was semi decent enough to resuce with photoshop....since I have a 4MP camera I can zoom in quite close when I cut it down to web res. The file is uploaded so if you revisit the link mentioned above you can see it. It's a close up of beckham.

I did.....Bayern slept walked through the first half and paid the price. The game got real exciting after they tied it, and then they blew it in the back and lost.....they also blew it yesterday and ended up with a tie....How about Maccabia Haifa though? 3-0 against Olympiakios? Impressive.........

It's nice to be in Europe where you get proper soccer coverage. I am also trying to get tickets to an Arsenal vs Aston Villa game at Highbury. I am gonna visit friends in England for a little over a week, and since I dont have to play for a hotel, I might as well put that money towards tickets. I am supposedly sitting behind one of the goals in the lower level at Old Trafford. The seat better be good cause it was almost $300 which I had to pay half of. I got it from an American Ticket company, so if it sucks, theyll be getting a letter from the BBB and a lawyer. ;)

My sister's boyfriend gets free tickets to Old Trafford every week through his Dad's business. I am so jealous, I got to go a couple of time with him but not for ages now.
It's so hard to get tickets most other ways. :frown:

I second that. The most time-sucking part is to trade players like stocks, buy low, train them and sell high :)

Yea own has been having problems scoring of late...as well as all of Man Utd. Arsenal is unstoppable. I like Man U better, but so long as Real Madrid doesnt win the Champs league I'll be happy.

Owen sucked but this Baros guy, awesome. But Basel was sooooooooooooo lucky, it's unbelieveable. 1 shot on the goal (in the whole game) and they scored :)
