Hey, remember me? Yeah. I barely ever post these days, but I'm still around. :)

This thread probably won't get as much attention as the World Cup threads but it will really be something.

It's on Tuesday the 17th at 11:30am PDT so I'll probably set my VCR and watch a recording after, but I thought I'd create an ***OFFICIAL*** thread.

Americans tune to ESPN2 and Canadians tune to TSN.

For those of you unfamiliar with the teams:
Real Madrid - familiar names: Zidane, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Figo, Raul, Hierro, Morientes, etc.
AS Roma - familiar names: Totti, Batistuta, Cafu, Candela, etc.

sweet. I've been catching some Premier League matches on FSW every once in a while. I don't have work that day, so I think I'm watching soccer.

ever since the world cup, i've been trying to get into soccer. i usually catch the weekly EPL games on Fox Sports net bay area, and i'm looking forward to see the champion's league match between Real Madrid and AS Roma.

I've also been addicted to Championship Manager 2001/2002. I'm a Manchester United fan now, but i've yet to see them play yet :(

bumpie!

oh whao, ESPN is actually airing it?
damn, I have class in that morning. beside, watching a game in the morning feels kinda weird since me and my friends are so acclimated at watching the game at night during 2002 WC.

ack!!! I watched the first half which was quite boring imo, then went out for lunch. by the time I came back my friend flipped to the hispanic sport channel and watched the Manchester City (they have England WorldCup goalkeeper) vs Blackburn Rover game (Blackburn has US's goalie)

I caught the second half at my school's pub and missed the first.

I'm now watching the first half off my recording and it blows. I didn't know that Totti and Batistuta were suspended.

the 2nd half is much more exciting. Guti with two great goals (hope its not spoiling it since the final score is posted up there anyways)

Roma was simply outclassed today.

Next week they're showing the AC Milan vs Deportivo La Coruna game.

Too bad Batistuta and Toti weren't there for Roma.
And we have yet to see Real Madrid with Ronaldo...
