No matter what anyone says, they do not do things using the standards of the genre since the very beginning of it. They do things their way, and I had no experience with their games. Not to mention I had no clue what was going on in the game, story-wise, and it acted like I was supposed to know. In the end I grew bored of trying to figure it out, and haven't played it in months. I doubt I'll ever beat it, I just have no interest in it.

So what are the "standards of the genre" you're talking about? I found it 200% intuitive.
