I just ran 3DMark2001 and got the exact same score as before. I'll run some games (for a real test) and see what happens.

Nice, I got a 200 point boost in 3dmark2001 after switching from the 22.80s to the 23.11s

old drivers (21.83) 4170
new drivers (23.11) 4612

i went from the 22.80's to the 23.10's and saw a 50 point drop, plus my gf2 ultra wont overclock as high now :-(

Does anyone know if those "compatability updates" they mention include the nv4disp.dll BSOD error that everyone seems to be getting under XP?

i dont get bsod's. I have in the past with some of the beta drivers but not with officials usually.... stop ocing your system past the stable limit

The nvdisp/infinite loop/drawing error is a common problem with NVIDIA cards in Windows XP

I'll give em a try......thanx for the heads up. I'll do a quick Q3A and 3DMark2001 Comparison and get back. The BSOD I only got in v22.80's I dropped back to 22.50's and not had a problem with the BSOD at all.

Do these, or have any NVidia drivers for that matter, ever implemented overscan correction(or whatever that's called)? I'm trying to find a better way to fix my TV-Out image, without using TVTool.
Can anyone recommend anything?

My scores went up in most areas and lowered in others areas (but not much 1point at most). LINK. I use 3DMark for comparison only.

I know for fact Q3 is faster on my system w/ these newer drivers, timedemo numbers went up. Also GR is running much smoother!

The only problem I see is that I'm no longer able to use 32bit z-buffer in 3DMark and GR.

I will also try out Anisotropic Filtering soon.

in two days i stumble upon a santa cruz beta driver that solves the stupid chkdks/f problem, and a new set of XP drivers for my rip-old plump and juicy vid card...

My Coolbits and NVMax don't work w/ this drivers, had to roll back to 23.10. After I rebooted, system had to reboot 3 times!!!. OC my GF3 Ti200 (220/480) but I still get the same 3DMark2001 score. :disgust:
