Anyone with an 8800gt seeing a difference? I was passing on the beta's, but I might try this one out.

Somebody (else) who plays UT2004 on the 8800Gt and "has experienced" the stuttering from it: Please try these drivers and see what you think. I just tried and the stuttering "seems" to be reduced (or completely gone). Just not sure if it's my imagination or it's gone (seriously). This issue has been known about for over a year (so I read).

Thanks.

Edit: It may have helped some but there still seems to be random stuttering. Sorry folks! :(

FSAA is still broken. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=58863

2d performance is still broken. http://www.passmark.com/forum/...ad.php?p=5061#post5061

Still no ability to compensate for overscan when driving a HDTV using HDMI.

The Nvidia control panel still sucks and riddled with bugs.

I received my first BSOD ever on the rig in my sig, using 174.74 beta. I know its a beta but no other beta has BSOD my rig.

I'm sick of waiting for Nvidia to fix major problems that should have never made it past beta testing. As I see it now they never will. They can piss off IMO.

By the way anyone want to buy a 8800GT?

The overall feel of a system is adversely affected by all 1xx.xx drivers. When I was running my 6800 GT switching between 9x.xx and 1xx.xx drivers was a night and day difference. 1xx.xx drivers made my system feel sluggish and less responsive. Any task that needs 2d is slowed down. Any 2d games will be almost unplayable. Programs that use .Net take a huge performance hit. .Net programs should run as well as any normal app but when using 1xx.xx drivers many feel like they are java based aka slow as hell.
