This is nothing new for me, I usually have trouble with this. The thing is, I actually ordered the things that are not here yet over 2 weeks ago.

I hate 'bad' weather.

i think this is the year that shows us just how not ready the world is for the internet to fulfill all our shopping needs, the follup up reports on monday morning from all the retailers will be bleak, and sooo many people are going to be celebrating xmas opening presents around new years probobly 😛
Between the weather and the sheer volume that these companies are dealing with I'm betting a LOT of people are missing out and its not the fault of the companies always, more so our postal systems or procrastination of people, but its clear tha theres still a few companies out there (Im looking at you Amazon) that need to revamp their system for the holiday season to make sure they can handle the volume of sales they produce.

I think the storm in the midwest had a big effect on those last-minute packages.

But strangely, I ordered something from Amazon on Tuesday with free supersaver shipping (I didn't need it for Christmas). It arrived today - about 72 hours after it was ordered.

I ordered a gift card on wednesday, and it arrived this afternoon. I think I'm one of the lucky few.

So from my previous thread I was worried about my package from Utah-Texas being stolen. I mailed it monday early afternoon and it still isn't there. Are you saying my package is probably OK? I could care less if it is late. I mailed it using usps priority mail which is supposed to take 1-3 days.
